GD, haven't you heard of exaggeration? BT believes in it. Can you imagine a twenty something girl, born and brought up in Mumbai going to bed in her sarees night after night, except for the c-night?Sometimes she does not even change the sareeshe worefor a party.

Prachi is the daughter of someone like Mukesh Ambani as they portrayed Inder as a great businessman. I can't imagine her being the way she is... Milsi rightly called her 1970s heroine.

Lizzy, the look may be beautiful, but is it glamorous? Then again there are people who feel saree is the most glamorous costume there is. So may be BT is right after all.

Opti if BT cannot give the proper looks to its Leading ladies ,then why should we blame others.

GD, I mostly wear sarees to work but I cannot wait to get out of them the minute I am home. Wonder how the poor girl manages to wear it 24/7.

Lizzzyy...it looks beautiful if worn with minimal makeup and less jewellery ...but one sports that once in a bluemoon that too if there is a special occassion.but tell me who sports that kind of attire as an everyday wear in a bengali family???The way they showed Prateek's wife is the train was sooooooo unreal!!!!...Even my Grandmother doesnt wear saari that way.
Here we were expecting Prachi to sport a glamorous look maybe Kurtis and Trousers or long skirts...or even saaris worn normally but with fashionable blouses..and shown as a working mother....we were not expecting her to sport a 16th centurt bengali look ( however beautiful it might be)and be a housewife...i feel thats regressive!
