As someone who has no horses in this race (I'm not a fan of any of the jodis in KYM), I have to say that I'm surprised that Michi fans are so appalled at seeing Prachi (seemingly) moving on and finding comfort in Proteek's arms. Considering BT's track record, this was bound to happen sooner or later. Toying with its viewers' emotions is what this production house does best.
No matter how close the leading couple is, the heroine's feelings can change in a hearbeat the minute these creatives decide to pair her up with someone else. They did it with Prerna/Anurag, Robbie/Kasturi, Sujal/Kashish and countless other couples. The women were paired up with Bajaj, Raunak and Piyush respectively. All of a sudden their worlds started revolving around the new men in their lives while their ex-lovers had to pine for MONTHS.For the sake of Michi fans I hope that what we saw on Thursday was done just to mislead the viewers - but I wouldn't bet on it. For all we know, PP have gotten married for real or perhaps Proteek is already in love with Prachi. So when Michi come face to face, Prachi will go "Oh I can't ditch the man who supported me for five years, helped me raise my son and loved me unconditionally, blah blah ..." *sigh*I've been following BT shows for a couple of years and have ALWAYS been let down by the creatives in terms of my favourite jodis. So at this point I've stopped investing emotionally in any couple. It's futile to hope for an entertaining, beautifully crafted love story from BT.
