...........a friend of mine started her media degree this year and as she was very nervous i decided I would go with her to her first lecture to help her out. thinking id be bored i sat there doodling on a pad of paper and then sumthing the lecturer said came caught my attention. on her comparison of different types of media she made the comment that soaps are meant to be more realistic and true to everyday life and are meant to give us messages about our life......at that i sniggered thinking clearly this woman aint seen a k-serial. but whilst going thru the forum here today i remembered wat she said and thought well actually i hv got a few messages from k-serials and thought i wud share them with u. i have kept them kayamath related but feel free to add any other msgs u have received...............

1. being a goody two shoes to ur step sister without her knowing is a bad idea cos ur step sis is still out to get ya and ur family start hating u too.
2. lying to ur husband about the identity of a child u bring home is a bad idea
3. lying to ur husband that u hv a child with ur ex fiance is always a bad idea
4. getting engaged to ur best friend when ur husbands got amnesia is a bad idea because it makes ur amnesia suffering husband who has fallen in love with u think that ur in luve with sum1 else and it prolongs separations.......
5. not telling ur husband that the woman he thinks is a nice person is actually a vamp is a bad idea
6. not telling ur best friend the truth about the vamp in ur life is a bad idea
so basically i have learnt that if and when i get married........not to hide any truths from my husband!!
oh and 7. watching kayamath causes me high blood pressure!!
ne1 got ne other messages??

Great post, yes hiding important things from your spouse is a definate no no in Ksoaps. Thats where the trouble starts from.

The lesson I learnt - we have no taste and would still watch the shows even though they become more & more pathetic every day, as long as there are a couple of hotties we can drool over 😆
Jokes apart, do we ever land up in situations where we discover that oiur father had an affair and has a illegitimate child?😉 In that case I probably would have no time to be nice to her - I would be busy with my mom's trial (Since she would have killed my dad as soon as the news is out)😛😉
Who in their right minds bring a child home with no legal proceddings ever? Would people just let other people in their homes without discussing with other family members? 😆 Just to get an exchange student last year, my parents spent a few weeks sorting out the paper work.
Rest of the scenarios are equally impossible 😳😳😳
But I think the moral's still good - dont lie 😛👍🏼
Another if any girl's outta get ur guy, just break her damn nose 😆

I guess the most brutal lesson I ever learnt was never trust the creatives. Never ever be fool enough to love fictional characters and don't ever dare to see anything logical in any serial.

lol!!!!! yeah i dont think my parents wud be very understanding if i turned up wif my mates kid - a mate who no one knew! AND if i all of a sudden started saying it was mine they wud question when exactly i went thru my nine months pregnancy when ive lived with em all along!! apart from the lying thing nothing else is true to life in a k-serial.......sukriti's forever long pregnancy for one thing is certainly not sumthing that eva happens in real life!
wat annoys me is that we hv to learn that lying is bad for u by seeing wat lying does!!! cant they just have one couple that actually tell each other everything and we can see it turn out ok???? rather than see the moral from their mistakes.
