Excellent post Kits 👏 You know I feel that Panchi is somewhat underrated as an actress and never gets much credit for her work because somehow ppl overlook her...
So thanks for this post.... Nice to see Panchi getting her due...

I agree she has improved fabulously from the beginning... but what I think hit Panchi's improvement home for me was (you might not agree to this) this sequence with Heer and Prachi.... Ekta sent Heer to Kayamath to promote KDMHMD... and when I saw her talking to the actress playing Heer, a newcomer, thats when I realized how good Panchi's acting really was, she was kind but understated, nothing was overtly obvious... her expressions were brilliant compared to the actress playing Heer who had this blank look on her face (she has also improved tons though)..

Also I agree Panchi's best scene is the court-room scene... I had watched it the other day on your recommendation... and I'm so grateful you showed it to me...her actor in that scene is terrific 👏 Her court monologue almost had me in tears... especially when she cried for Inder...Shabbo also conveyed his emotions well in that scene.... Anyways ur right this one is better than her reaction to finding out Ayesha is dead... But that was great nonetheless 😊

For some reason, I feel sort of proud of Panchi, seeing her mature so beautifully...

Oh, I remember the Heer-Prachi interaction, and, yep, Panchi's understated performance in this show is under-rated! ;)
Personally, I think she is wayyy better than the more popular Kasturi or Heer etc.
Glad you liked the courtroom scene! *hugs*

wow kit, panchi has definitely come along way, the scene which sticks out the most is the court scene...it still brings tears to my eyes and although i love milsi, i really wanted to throttle him that day.

a wonderful post Kits...how could i miss it👏
Im watching Kayamat only from the infamous beach scene in jan...after a day or two i see this woman protagonist put up a brilliant performance in the courtroom..without knowing the story or involved in any character in th show..i had tears in my eyes..which compelled me to google "kayamat"..thats how i got to know the woman prptagonist was played by this girl called Panchi Bora..neither did i know who was Shabbir ahluwalia...i loved his performance too in the court..the pain he depicted through his silent performance was just superb..rest is history...i became crazy michi fan..and now incurable shachian..
i caught up with all the Michi scenes from the archive ( Michihaven).the waterfall...the rape..the flood..and .i feel Panchi nodoubt underrated...she is a brilliant actor..i was appalled and disheartened when she was not even nominated for best Patni.Best bhabhi.or best beti!!!! very very sad😕
