Well inviting such guests to attend the party could be the hands of Omi too. He arranged the side dancers too made them drag Rajiv n humiliate him. To teach lesson to his own family and the guests Adi attires himself similarly and dances that it was a Sasur/damaad performance. And that slap from Kavya was enough.

He is dumb and doesn't think before doing anything. His only aim is to get praise from his father, so that, his father will help him get into and grow in politics. So he does things only to impress his father, without thinking the consequences and Giriraj is very well aware of this fact..

I think, its time for him to get punished. Hopefully he gets exposed in front of Adi (Kavya should not hide again from Adi thinking about he will be hurt) and Adi takes a stand against Omi, otherwise Giriraj may again save him..
