Contrary to media reports, superstar Shah Rukh Khan - who is making a guest appearance in Ravi Chopra's Bhoothnath – is not only close to finishing his filming but is also doing it free of charge.
"Shah Rukh has been absolutely great. The crew loves him. He has been so easy to work with and the best part is he isn't making any demands. In fact he isn't even charging anything for his guest appearance. In addition to that he is also bringing in his own clothes, shoes and accessories for the film," says a unit source.
Recently, there have been reports that Shah Rukh and Amitabh Bachchan have been delaying the shoot due to the alleged cold war between the two. Khan was scheduled to shoot his scenes earlier this year but then he went away to London for his annual family holiday leaving the film in limbo. Even on his return, due to previous commitments, he was unable to give his dates. When SRK was available, Big B was busy with his commitments and so once again the film couldn't move forward. It reached a point where the producers were stuck in a tight spot as the shots with only the two stars were the ones left to be canned for the film to be completed and soon rumours of two avoiding filming began to surface.
However the source says that the shoot is very much on. "When reports surfaced that the shooting was being delayed, we were in fact filming. We are almost at the end of the shooting. We begin another schedule on September 17 for a couple of days and then the movie wraps up."
So what about the alleged differences between the two?
"Both were very cordial with each other. There were no tantrums of any kind. I mean both of them are such big stars so you weren't going to see any fireworks in any case. But obviously they weren't like in each other's vans all day long. They came, met, exchanged pleasantries, did their shots and left!"
