KBC News - Sometimes I can't remember my own dialogues, says SRK |
Shah Rukh Khan told KBClive that he often can't remember his dialogues. You saw him do it with Vasu Jaitley from Delhi and then with Vishal Malvya from Vapi and again with Harfeez Nawaz. Almost every contestant who reaches the Hot Seat and hundreds of screaming fans in the audiences have had just one request for King Khan – to say a dialogue from his movies ranging from Darr to DON. And even after twenty years of acting in numerous films Shah Rukh manages to remember his dialogues perfectly. He told KBClive that often it doesn't come as smoothly as it appears on screen. "I don't actually remember all my dialogues. There was a time when we started initially that thought I would keep bits and pieces of paper with me and read it out from there. But I don't. So sometimes I just remember them and often I even ask the contestant – it's happened on a few shows – you tell me the dialogue and then I will say it," says Khan frankly. However, he adds that there are some he does know verbatim and is only happy to oblige repeating them. "Some of them are a little popular and I'm still living off those dialogues so it's my job to remember them. So yeah I don't remember all of them. But sometimes it just happens and sometimes I don't. Many a times I want to say something and I don't remember a dialogue!" Thursday, April 5, 2007 |
