KBC News - The week that was... |
Catch up on all the action from week ten only on KBClive. Week ten of KBC has had everything – money, gifts, fun, laughter, charity- the works. It began on a surprising note when SRK and Hyundai Santro decided to gift ten Santros for the FFF contestants on Monday night. Sporting a more casual look, Shah Rukh began play with a new contestant – Ravindra Gautam – on KBC this week. Although Ravindra reached 80,000 rupees, he selected the wrong answer for the next questions and came back down to 20,000 rupees. Next on the hot seat on Monday night was Subir K. Das from Morigaon, Assam. At the close of play on Monday night, Subir had won 20,000 rupees. However, all the fun only began at the end of the episode, when SRK surprised the remaining FFF contestants with their very own Santro cars. You can read more about that here Das resumed play on Tuesday night. However, sadly for him the evening ended before it even began. Having 4 lifelines in stock, Subir decided to use audience poll for the second question of the evening. Going with the Audience proved fatal and his game came to an end as the answer he selected was incorrect. Replacing Das was Dharmesh Malhotra from Agra who had carried a gift for SRK from his wife. And as Khan enjoyed his gift, Dharmesh couldn't stay long enough to enjoy himself. Deciding on the wrong answer the game ended for Malhotra and he had to exit with only 20,000 rupees. Akhilesh Chandra took the Hot Seat after Dharmesh. By close of play on Tuesday night he had reached 40,000 rupees. Wednesday night too belonged completely to Akhilesh. Playing brilliantly he continued to work through the questions intelligently and smartly. Using reason and fact he won 25 lakh rupees for himself and left everyone else spell bound with his knowledge. Next on the Hot Seat that evening was Bal Bhadra from Vishakapatnam. Bhadra hasn't yet begun play and will start his quest on the Hot Seat only on Monday evening as Thursday night belonged to the Munnbhai duo – Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani. Playing for three different charities, both Sanjay and Boman performed very well. Keeping the audiences entertained with their wit and humour, the two won 50 lakh rupees. From quizzing to singing, the celebrity special had something for everyone. Friday, March 30, 2007 |
