Khan continues to shoot despite severe illness

The morning that SRK was scheduled to return to the sets of KBC, he woke up with a sore throat and a mild cold infection. But by the end of the first day itself, Khan developed a fever too which later translated into a severe bout of laryngitis.

"It's been a very tiring week for me. I began with a fever then viral and now I'm down with laryngitis and a bad case of chest congestion. Hopefully at the end of the schedule I will be able to take atleast half a day off and get the much needed rest before I begin on my other shoot."

During the week, despite of his illness, Shah Rukh shot almost nine episodes including the Valentine's Day special.

"It was a bit strenuous for me. The medicines which I take every morning help me through the day and by night I'm quite tired again. And the nights are quite horrible to get through. But once I get on the floors and interact with the audiences and contestants I do forget about my discomfort. But if I do sound hoarse and scratchy in the next couple of episodes now you know why!" says a tired looking SRK.
