I don't see why Katha should have broken ties with the Garewals or told them to mind their own business and left everything behind for Viaan. Did Viaan leave Teji after all she did? Not just in this case but also with Vanya and Seema Dutta. Garewals were not responsible for the ONS revelation except Reet. It was Maya and Teji. Teji had no problem humiliating a young woman like this, a woman whom her son loved and her son had wronged. If she were a good person she would have taken such a shameful revelation to her grave. Not just for Katha but also for Viaan. But what did we have? Teji forgiven and absolved because she came to her senses seeing her son dying, and apologized. You cannot blame her anymore because you can see how much she regretted and repented. It would be wrong to hold her responsible forever for that one mistake.

The same thing goes for Garewals and Viaan. Once katha forgave Garewals she accepted them whole-heartedly. She chose to completely forgive and forget. Similarly, when she fell in love with Viaan she completely accepted him warts and all. That ONS didn't matter to her anymore, just like how Garewals had treated her didn't matter to her anymore. For her both those incidents were bygones and she didn't think anyone needed to be punished for those incidents anymore.

Garewals were not bad people. Once they reconciled with Katha and Aarav they were a great support system to her. And once they welcomed Viaan into their family they did it with all their heart. Kavita and Kailash made him their son and Yuvraj made him his brother. There was no farce in their love and warmth. They cared for both of them and gave Viaan Adi's place. The same cannot be said for Teji. If Katha and Viaan had gotten married somehow she would have continued to create problems for them. The truth is Katha was getting the short end of the stick when it came to in-laws. Any girl would think twice about marrying into a family where your MIL dislikes you no matter how loving your husband is. But if Katha can forgive Viaan, can forgive Teji, why can't she forgive Garewals also? They were afterall Adi and Aarav's family.

Reet is root of the ONS revelation, she brought 1 crores topic to Maya. It wasn't Teji. And why would Viaan leave his mother when one side people defend Katha for her every cruel action in the name of motherhood, other side same people expect Viaan to leave only person in his family.

Katha can't leave her 2 minutes bro who almost killed her partner but people expect Viaan to leave his mother because she wanted to break a marriage, she was unsuccessful there too. They couldn't have done anything if it wasn't for Kathas so called sister in law and brother.

That's why I said its not wise to play blame game. I just presented a way in which Viaan looks culprit. I don't want to blame him his reasons for being astute are reasonable. But, Its futile to say that Katha could have stopped the mess that day. If Katha could have stopped it, Viaan would have also stopped it. Let's leave that day to bad circumstances and bad timing of Viaan's arrival.

Grewals are absolute morons and I don't like them too. All this mess is bcoz of that dumbhead Yuvraaj. But I don't agree with that Katha broke up with Viaan because Grewals won't allow their relationship to prosper. Its for her fears regarding Aarav what if he comes to know about ONS from some random source not now but, when he grows up. Katha will save her love but, will love between Viaan and Aarav remain same? - this was exactly conveyed by Maya. Teji pinned for Viraaj but, Viaan never loved Viraaj. Whether you find those fears valid or not that depends on perspective. Its true Aarav can't be saved from truth for long but, logically from her coward perspective, its the best attempt she can make. It is the easiest fight she can take. She has broken all old ties as I can see. Earthcon, Raghuvanshi Family, Grewal family. Her ties with Grewal family is still questionable, I don't know how close she is to them.

During her confrontation with Maaya, she said a line Agar unhe samajh nahi aaya toh wo unke nazariye ka dosh hoga (said for Grewals).

I'm mad that Yuvraaj didn't have any jail term for what he did to Viaan, but woh Viaan ki choice thi to kya kar sakte hain. Also I don't think assault ke liye use zyada jail hoti. Bail pe bahar aa jaata woh

But that dumbhead ruined things instead of trying to handle them. But look how karma hit back. His own father died and his family got ruined. Instead of offing Kailash they should have offed Reet. Koi punishment to deserve karti thi woh.

I know makers will force a good ending but, I don't see any logical good ending. All roads lead to permanent separation. What a waste.

@Bold Thinking to die to get insurance claim money is not a sensible thing to do. She was always a normal character with some insane determination and practicality. She was never mahaan or a woman with infinite spine. If she had spine and vengence, she would have taken full advantage of her power during Shamita's track but, she didn't. Getting herself killed to get insurance ...well that wasn't a sensible decision, agreed as she did take some impulsive decision before also which I have stated in one of my previous posts, I think while replying to one of your post .By keeping senses intact I also meant that she never used any person for her or her child's benefit nor cheated anyone nor did she needed the crutches of a man to make her struggles easier.But now whatever she is doing to save Aarav ..she is using Raghav and his family and cheating them.

Unlike previous adversities, where there was a clear goal, here, clear goal is the dead end. After Adi died, her goal was to live for Aarav. When Aarav got cancer, her goal was to earn for his treatment through all means.

Like the previous situation now also her goal was straight and clear.She needed to treat her son by a proper psychiatrist and try to heal him ....tell every truth to the doctor,unfortunately which she didn't...and not to give into the unreasonable demands of her son....discuss about the situation of Aarav with Viaan to take a proper suggestion when she was not able to handle herself.But guess her goal was on a different tangentFind a easier method to heal her son by marrying his psychiatrist and find stability in life.

Here, goal is to heal Aarav for which she needs Viaan's help but, she can't live with Viaan because of the same reasons stated by Maya. If she takes Viaan's help and later leaves him, she is essentially using and throwing him which is against her character. Staying with Viaan is also not the solution. There is a constant threat Aarav comes to know the full truth and then what? How do you explain him ONS and why she is still living with him. Maybe after a lot of explantion he will understand that bygones are bygones and Viaan is the changed man but, will the love remain the same. Teji also pinned for Viraaj Raghuvanshi did Viaan felt even a ounce of love for Viraaj? He secretly hated him all along. Is this the relationship one wants to live in? Torture hota dono ke liye

During the Garewal fiasco...she stated that she had that constant fear that "saab kuch kharab na ho jaye" regarding the ONS revelation. Then she should have hold herself and not reciprocated to Viaan's love at all .Itna hi daar tha...that Aarav might also know about it toh pyaar ke saagar mein doobne ko kisney kahan??She should have stayed alone with Aarav whole life according to the deal she and Aarav made" humarey beech koi teesra insaan nahi aayega".And one thing I don't understand...why is she so tensed , anxious and afraid of everyone knowing about the ONS?? When she was blasting Viaan during the time he came to apologize to her for the ONS offer after knowing the truth of Aarav..she said she neither has guilt nor she cares what ppl think of her ".So,now suddenly why so creating hulla machoing over it that family came to know...blah blah blah.. and breaking ties with Viaan.Even if she marries another guy...won't Aarav in future want to know how she gathered such a huge amount for his treatment or the guy she marries won't he be curious to know?? What is she going to do then....another set of lies??

There is a word called Zugzwang which is used in chess to explain a position where any move you make is a bad move and worsens your position. Katha is in that same Zugzwang. She can't stay with Viaan, can't live with Viaan.

The reasons which is given that she can't stay with Viaan doesn't convince me...and if u think the reasons are strong enough ...then in that case she should have never reciprocated his love."Hum us kali raat ko peechey chodke bar gaye hai...aab daar daar ke nahi jeena"this was her words in the car during Dargah visit.. but alas!! Only words...

Better solution was indeed to forget Viaan and move on. Again by move on, I don't mean she should marry some man. This path will hurt Katha but, Aarav will be safe. Katha suffered what she suffered, her child shouldn't suffer. When he grows up, with treatment from some other psychiatrist he will also heal. Time is the greatest healer. Past remains in past. Memories get foggy over time.

Also, Raghav approached Katha not the other way around. Aarav just became a catalyst. Also, In case of Viaan, Viaan approached katha. If Viaan didnt approach her, she would have never approached him back.

Aarav was the driving force..""aap humari choti si duniya jaldi se puri kar do na...aapka kya jaata hai"" these were his words to Katha.Agreed Raghav approached her...and it wasn't that he put her at gunpoint to accept the proposal.Viaan approached Katha...and again she wasn't at gunpoint to accept him in her life...

This is the entire situation as established by the show. I wanted to see what solution writers had in this terrible situation. Situation is indeed terrible for both Katha and Viaan. Teji and Maya are the reason for this situation but, what is the point in blaming them. They are not going to sort anything. Any amount of forgiveness going to change the truth. Till it was a secret , there was no problem but, with the secret out, there is no solution I can think of.

Dumb writers, don’t know how to create proper drama! How I wish they used their creativity to expose Reet 😡

@red I would like to disagree here. It was only and only katha who could have stopped the mess that day and later on.

I will be forever bitter about this show. They promoted it as love story, all we got is bad parenting tips.

I will remember it in my most bad drama list
