Problem is lack of clarity. I have been pointing it out since the beginning of leap. Due to that lack of clarity audience's hate skyrocketed and now any type of damage control isn't making an impact. Also, visual clarification has more impact than verbal clarification.

In her conversatio with Vaanya Katha said to her that she tried her best to convince Aarav about Viaan but he didn't felt convinced. We don't have visual clarity about how much she tried. I assume best possible explanation. That man of the house thinking makes him overprotective towards her and hence he is unable to forgive Viaan. Katha can't lie to Aarav that Viaan didn't hurt her because Viaan clearly confessed it in front of everyone.

Thing is that if Aarav is reacting this badly just after listening to his name and seeing his face then, why will she support Viaan in front of him? We often like to listen to the perspective we agree with. If I am hating Katha, I will listen to all perspectives which hate on katha and skip anything which supports her. Something similar is happening here. Aarav is simply not ready to listen even a good thing about him. Viaan is bura past only for Aarav not for Katha.

We always had visual clarification for Viaan's perspective after leap but, not so much for Katha. Time factor of 8 months is one of the reasons for lack of visual clarification. She will not be crying for everyday for 8 months. Maybe for first few weeks she might be crying everyday but after 8 months, everything should have been normalized.

But, she is getting annoying now. I have run out of my patience to get some visual clarity. I have run out of my free passes and patience. I can understand her dialogues but still it is annoying to listen on screen.

Ehsan and Vanya, please stop. It's not cute anymore, these ladai and then manaofying sessions. If you don't agree on something then stop discussing it na. Just stay out of it. It's not even your business. You're not even providing a solution. Ultimately you're outsiders and there's only so much you can do to help people who don't want to help themselves. You can talk about things outside of Katha, Viaan and Aarav too, okay? Your lives don't have to revolve around them. Shaadi aa rhi to uski tyaari karo. Why keep discussing the same things again and again and again.

And Aarav... just never mind. Forget it. I'm not even mad at him. It's not his fault. Poor kid got caught up in the mess created by the adults in his life. He is angry, confused, hurt and a lot of other things but can't even comprehend them entirely, and the adults in his life are no help at all. Not Raghav, or Katha or Viaan. Even Raghav is better than those two. Katha and Viaan are just pissing me off with their blabbering like a broken record, their stubbornness and whatever twisted love they have for each other. They're just a therapist's nightmare. Or maybe every therapist's dream. They should first book individual and couple's appointments with Raghav. Atleast give the man some business if you're going to fck up his life and mooch off of his kindness. Raghav should make some money off them, and then kick the three of them to the curb. And then go to therapy himself to recover from the trauma of their so-called love.

You summed it so well . There was something unsettling about the episode and now I know what was that exactly. I always struggle with finding words and express my thoughts crisply. Instead, I end up rambling. I am going to miss your excellent vocabulary after this show ends. smiley36

She could tell Aarav that Viaan didn't say anything to Sehgals about their past and has become friends co-incidentally but couldn't tell how much Viaan changed himself for his mother to be forgiven and loved. Aaarav was quiet calm when he enquired about Viaan becoming friends with Sehgals . ..she could explain him about what happened in past But naah!! she had repeat certain words...."bhul jao woh bura past tha" ..."forgive" .... "Raghav ke family ko happy rakhna hai"...baas!!

Exactly! I don't believe aarav was in constant state of anger after the trauma. Katha had many chances where she could have explained whole truth to him and specially mention how much she loves viaan. But what she did was only provocate him more against viaan. She is solely responsible for Aarav's continued agression. She painted the picture for him where viaan betrayed them amd she was heartbroken and now she doesn't want to be with viaan.

I was upset with aarav for no reason. Katha is the the most dumbest stupidest person on earth who has created this whole mess.

After yesterday's scene with aarav, I am convinced she is the most stupid person of earth. She had many chances to make aarav understand but she only did the opposite of it.

Right from breaking up with viaan in the hospital to present scenario looks like katha has totally lost it.

I remember the scene when she fainted in the hospital seeing viaan's condition. I think she suffered from some internal brain injury and lost her mind after that.smiley37

I don't understand this deliberate butchering of Katha's character. Normally in itv all the other characters, especially the ML is butchered to glorify the FL. It's the opposite here. Every other person in the show makes sense except her. And it's not like they don't know it. She is being constantly called out by everyone for her cowardice and nonsense. Viaan has been the harshest critic and she herself has acknowledged that she understands that what she's doing is only temporary. And yet she stubbornly continues down the same path.

I would have sympathized with her if she had simply admitted to Viaan that she didn't know what to do anymore. That she was struggling and in over her head because all her interventions to help their kid had failed. That finally she was at the end of her tether and couldn't cope anymore. What's the worse that could have happened? It's not like Viaan would have judged her for not being infallible. He would have stepped up even more. He wouldn't have let her suffer alone.

Katha, you're supposed to be the bridge between them. The one Viaan can use to cross over to Aarav. You're supposed to lay down the foundation and pave the way for him. Not light the matchstick to burn the bridge down while Viaan stands suspended over it. When he's willing to put in the effort what's stopping you from doing the same. Atleast don't become his raaste ka kaanta.

@Bold. Its true. I have indeed lost it. smiley37 Whenever I write anything about her perspective It feels cringe that's how lame her perspective is. One trait of typical ITV FL I can see is hiding things. All ITV FLs have same reasoning for hiding things - Family will get hurt. She is the only Ankahee part in Katha Ankahee. smiley37

I have been doing this for a while - documenting perspectives of characters and posting them here. Now, I have a habit of doing it. I always add a line which directly or indirectly conveys the meaning - Its just POV it can be right or wrong. It is just a statement you can agree or disagree with. Its not mine POV, its her/his/their POV. Its become a habit now smiley36. Essentially, I am postulating my interpretation of POV is only interpretation of that person's POVsmiley36. I am just documenting it. Before 205th episode this way to documentation helped in understanding things better. Now, it looks stupid. I feel stupid.

If I write hitler's POV tell about his troubled past one might assume I am his supporter and anti-semite. But, in reality I am saying his POV. Its natural for some third person to assume that. Obviously when I write about his POV, I will appear stupid. Some people might even think what is the need to write his POV. I have no issues with that.

Thing about POVs is that one will always appear right in their POV. Hitler will appear right in his POV. Viaan thought he had right POV for Women after ONS. Clearly, as a spectator, we know he was wrong. But, he appeared right in his POV. If I state Katha's POV, she will appear right in her POV. If I state Viaan's POV, he will appear right in his POV and Katha looks wrong.

From a spectator's POV, Katha is more flawed in her POV while Viaan is a bit delusional for his love. Katha is selfish and manipulating Raghav for her son while Viaan is refusing to see the problems with them getting together. If Viaan, just like Vaanya thinks of telling the whole truth to Aarav then, I don't see how is he expecting to be living with them. I would have liked if his goal was just to heal Aarav because his family is responsible for that in a part and then, leave them for good. As Arnima said, all of them need a therapy. I am going to need it too smiley37

This is due to this thought process of mine you will see two phases of me

1. Documenter : Here I just express everything from character's perspective. If character is stupid, I will appear stupid. If that character is not stupid everyone will support my POV and my post gets 10 likes in a day.

2. Spectator : I rarely get into this phase. But, here I will poke fun at characters and see only the visible part of the characters on screen and express my frustration just like every other forum member.

If someone is curious why I bash Katha one day then come up with her POV the next day, here is your explanation. Looks like I will add heading on my posts to explain the POV with which I am talking.smiley37

Its funny that I am documenting my own behaviour smiley37

Although, I will admit my mistake that sometimes while documenting, I get into emotion and start supporting their lame POV which is something I shouldn't do if I am neutrally documenting it.

What I am unable to understand is why it is all intentional? Writers are definitely aware of this. If there were not aware they would not have given Viaan that dialogue. Aapko sach bolna pasand tha. That's why I am intrigued. But, there is no point in keeping this intrigue alive as the show is about to end and I will never get my answers.

Spectator's POV

This is something I am unable to understand as well. Unlike other ITV writers who are completely delusional, here, they know exactly what they are doing. They know Katha is wrong. Ehsan, who is biggest supporter of Katha also taunted her on commitment. Vaanya and Viaan, both are criticizing her. Katha herself knows she is wrong and doesn't deserve him. Still refrains to see her reflection in mirror. They are not trying to justify her as well. This is the only reason I am still invested. What is the point of all this?

I think they experimented a bit too much with her character. Another problem is that they refrain from showing anything from leap period to explain her character change. All we have short snippets of flashbacks which are extremely unconvincing. They have convoluted the entire storyline by introducing the leap.
