But office holi party will be very formal. That's why i want all of them to join the Garewals house party. 😆

Kavita and teji are friends. So they can either go to garewal house or raghuvanshi house to greet each other.

Looks like Katha got her salary including 50 years anniversary bonus. This month Aarav's school expenditure may be less. She finally bought new clothes even for herself, not just Aarav & Neerja for Holi ka dahan.

So after Adi's death Katha has never played holi.

serious question folks -- is there anything that prevents widows/singles/divorcees from playing holi? am just asking because you hear stories that with certain festivals/rituals, some are discouraged from actively participating even now. however whether it is true or not is hard to tell because people always say that we have advanced and that only happened decades ago.

not sure of the custom or tradition...

but widows/divorcees may think not to play... widows may b under depression. as they feel their color of life has gone for ever...

divorcees have their own depression seeing all these enjoyments... and their life gone ruined..

in short depends on personality mental take....

It all depends on the individual and the family members.

I belong to a Brahmin family. In this matter my family is quite broad minded . My maasi (mom's sister) is a widow. But my family never treats her differently, even in festival or functions. Even in my dad's side many single, divorced and widows are there. They are my sisters and aunts. As we all belong to same family, we treat them equally. Atleast in my family no white sarees, no fasting, no separate rules for them. Thank God for that 🙏
