Hi guys, just finished watching the latest episode. Thought I could share what I thought about it!
For once, I actually agree with Ehsan. 😆 This is for the matter that he wasn't consulted at all when changing important protocols for the company. Don't get me wrong; I love this version of Viaan and am glad that he is changing his views. But I do feel that sometimes Ehsan is treated like a boss who is slightly below Viaan's level. Just because there are personality differences (like Viaan being more dominant and Ehsan being more carefree), it doesn't change the fact that both are co-owners of Earthcon. I personally have been in situations when I got irritated by my project teammates who were too bossy, so I get Ehsan in this. 😆
Viaan's past is painful. 💔 But what I found even more sad and infuriating was the kind of stories that Teji was feeding to Viaan as a child. They are so disturbing. I hate people like her; she thinks she is doing Viaan a favour by 'cautioning' him, whereas she is only causing more pain to him. Especially kids have a tendency to imprint such traumatic stories from childhood and carry them on to adulthood, which Viaan clearly has. As for Ehsan, whether him sharing Viaan's past is right or not is questionable, but it was needed for the story. It was important for Katha to know Viaan's background.
Though I know some people are angry about how Ehsan keeps poking his business into Katha and Viaan's business, I do find it quite natural for him to question Katha and Viaan's relationship (actually he should have recognised the tension earlier on). I mean, if my best friend suddenly begins to act differently and supports a guy she didn't like earlier, I would be curious too. 😆
BUT I do have a problem with him just randomly showing up to her house. Like, seriously? I thought you said you were not a creep?! How is Katha not affected by it at all? Why is it so normal for your boss to show up at your house unannounced, even if you have a friendly relationship with him? I am still confused at to how the makers want to portray Ehsan. But I also don't understand Katha!
I feel that today's episode had a lot of solid and important events, but was not executed as well as some of the previous episodes. It just felt a bit slow and not as intense as it should have been, considering that important revelations such as Viaan's past surfaced. But I am excited for KaViaan scenes.
