Sometimes I do feel bad for Reet. I think we can all relate to the feeling of wanting attention and trying to be liked, but then people liking the person who does not really try to be liked (in this case, the former is Reet and the latter is Katha). In some episodes, I felt like she was genuinely trying to have a normal conversation with the in-laws but it somehow ended up with the in-laws quietly concluding that Reet wants to cause fights/drama. But I also think that this is the makers fault; they don't seem to be very interested in developing her as a character. So yes, unfortunately she probably will turn into a typical ITV negative bahu.

Also Adi and Katha married 10 years ago. Katha is shown to be in early 30's, that is around 32. So that confirms that she got married when she was 22.

With Reet's daughter older than Aarav, well birth control exists. Adi literally left his home, so they would have to set up new home. Obviously they won't have a baby when there is no concrete home.

I just corrected the part where you said Reet married after Aditya's death. As it is not possible because:

It is shown in episode of Kavita's birthday both the daughters of yuvraj is elder to aarav.kavita literally told them to take care of your younger brother

And Aditya died when aarav was one year old.

There is no way that Aaditya would have died before Yuvraj's marriage.

Aaditya is elder to yuvraj that is shown but in kids aarav is youngest

Naah, Katha is the Badi Bahu as she is the wife of elder son. When the show started even I thought Adi would be younger. But actually Adi being older makes a lot more sense with respect to Garewal dynamics. Mostly parents actually forgive and tolerate younger kids more than they do for the first born. Source? I am the first born 😆

Oops my bad. I read it as they married before Adi. You are right.

am hoping they won't turn her evil and make her character more interesting -- maybe explore those insecurities and how being a housewife is at times depressing especially when you are pregnant. basically some different dynamics to the typical jealous sister-in-law. if they make her a typical ITV character, then we will end up in the usual territory of saas baahu drama. fingers crossed, this drama skips all of that as it is not meant to cater to that kind of audience...

so aditya is the older son but aarav is currently the youngest among his cousins. have we got the family tree correct?

now, if it is stupidity like ehsaan showing up at the door unannounced, we can write many posts. 😆

reet does have great style for a pregnant lady - liking her kaftans.

I dont agree that Reet is merely insecure & jealous. She is fundamentally not a good person.

If she were a good-hearted person, she would feel bad for Katha who is a young woman just like her, but infinitely more unfortunate having lost her hubby & nearly lost her child. But she has practically no sympathy. She is looking for ways to discredit Katha at a time like then when the latter has just emerged fm a traumatic time.

she is definitely not empathetic but does that make her negative? selfish for sure but she hasn't come up with any super scheme to put katha down (as of yet). will wait for that turn. 😆 till then she seems more like real life pesky relatives who are only obsessed with their own problems and don't even see that others also have their own stuff they are dealing with. 😅

I dont know what yuvraj feels about it at all. Because he knows even if he failed to impress papaG, he wouldn't be thrown out of house or his importance will become any less. He knows that now he is papaG's only son. Doesn't matter papaG considers him an idiot but other than him he has no option. Aarav is just a child, yuvraj has no competition from him as of now. papaG will not sideline his son for anything. Therefore yuvraj doesn't care for katha or her kid getting more attention.

And about reet, i dont think she will be shown as full vamp of itv doing saazish and talking to herself wearing heavy makeup and all being the ultimate vamp bahu. Katha serial is too realistic for that kind of villain. But yes, reet will keep playing her mind games, provoking everyone against katha.
