I mean it must have been tough being a single mother and as an individual whose life did not exactly turn out the way she wanted vis a vis her marriage. So maybe that over protectiveness is mainly due to the fact that she wants to shield her kids from the hurt and pain.
I remember my earlier post rating devika as a mom and well i rated her in the negative, and i am going to revise that rating not to a positive one (not sooooo fast atleast), but atleast on a neutral.
I know as a mom u want to ensure ur kids do not commit the mistakes u do, but maybe sometimes it is better let them commit their own mistakes and learn from it.
That way, when u r not around in the future, atleast the kids will have the confidence to lead their life without u and of course when it is their chance to be parents, they do a fair job with their kids as their parents did before them.
