what do i do first thing in the morning, without even brushing my teeth...rush here to see views on yesterdays episode!
i did not quite have the inclination yesterday to watch kasturi and if I can predict how this serial and other ektaa serials have gone...i will completely stop watching it in the next three months! anyway, coming back to yesterdays episode, i used the ff button a lot and watched bits and peices...
now, being the disorganised person i am, i am finding it difficult to organise my thoughts...also, after reading 4 pages of views in my semi awake i dont quite remember who wrote what...so apologies!
(is anyone shouting 'cut the crap and come to the point!')- a lot of you have commented on Devika in general and Devika in yestderday's episode. I agree with some views and I dont with the others. I actually loose interest the moment she comes on screen because i do not want to see any more scheming...it is not why i watch kasturi...i will be satisfied when she is finally caught...but raksha, like you said, she will live on to an age older than dracula!
@everyone :Devika - yes, she has been lady lucks favourite so far and only taken advantage of the opporunities presented to her...but she has also taken a few steps to create situations where these opportunities would rise ...she is the one who implanted the skeleton and made use of her daughter to frame raunak, implicated robbie in the case, organised the income-tax raid on raunak...she has done most of the things kasturi has accused robbie of doing! ofcourse, as days pass and months pass, all this will be remembered only by us and the creatives will conveniently forget it...they will be spinning greater webs and will be busy taking us on bumpier rollar costers.
@JW- you mentioned that atleast devika has some principles...see, i dont think she has any. i think she has been motivated by greed until now...ofcourse she loves her children but she is selfish in her love for her children...when the serial started her concern for her employees etc was really nice to see...but ever since she learnt of RoKas she has completely done a u-turn...i sympathise with her about the whole singhania issue...even i would not like another family living with me, no matter how close the relations are. and i understand her bitterness toowards them...but i still think she is completely without scruples and is totally selfish in her love ...and so i dont see anything positive about her and i hope we will see her being brought to task (by robbie)...though i am very sure that until the end of this serial, the things that devika did will never come to light. so, we can all stop worrying about robbie breaking down about finding out about his mom...but JW, i agree with you that robbie should try and get to the bottom of all this...because only he knows that he is innocent and obviously someone is trying to create differences.
@JW- again totally agree with you that if nandini and mr singhania really consider robbie their son, they should do more than just turn up at concerts and drink champagne to congratulate his success...
@everyone- what i dont like about nandini, what irritates me more than her constipated looks is, her pooja path image and the sacharine sweetness in her voice...aaahhhhghhhhh...man, one feels like shaking her up...she only cries and looks striken, cries and looks striken...yayayayanananana...actually (ok i am not being rude about the actor and this is not a personal attack...i mean this in the nicest way possible)...it could be that the expressions are not anything to do with the character but rather the actor...she playes kusums mother in law and in the very handful of episode i have seen of kusum, she seems to have the same streotyped expressions.
@raksha, JW, krishi - i agree that KC and RaS should return the property, rather than vowing to safegaurd the property everytimes questions are asked and eyebrows are raised. But what I think is that, return the 60% share that is not yours...see, all is fair and even if robbie is the main money machine, it is a fact that the sighanias have a 40% share and raunak and senior singhania have worked all their life in the company...if puru was foolish enough to just handover 40% to the singhanias, well, what can i say?! now the other point is, if the empire is as large and as filled with money as they make it out to be, even 40% will be no small amount and it will be substantial enough for kasturi to vouch payment to lawyers or anyone else. it would be enough for kasturi to get raunak out of jail, help her family etc. so, i did have a problem with devika when she spoke to kasturi in that fashion yesterday...puru's foolishness has nothing to do with kasturi...point is that singhanias are 40% shareholders and fully capable of spending their money when needed...and thats the answer i would have expected from kasturi ...instead she talks about how her harishchandra rolled into mahatma gandhi pati will never misuse their money (then what was she doing pledging money over the phone?!) Now if i were raunak or any of the singhanias i would return the 60% share and take my 40% (or sell it to the sabbarwals) and do something by myself...afterall, both junior and senior singhania are capable and well!
robbie was fantastic yesterday, especially in that scene which every one has commented on...loved the dialogue and the way karan patel said it...his dialogue delivery is very clear and very good...and i was thrilled with the flashback...now i know many of you were not...but the way i see it, it tells me that robbie is not a hypocrite like mr and mrs singhania or anyone else in the serial...it is not easy (especially the robbie has loved kasturi) to forget in a day. and a love so deep, it will take ages for robbie to get over it...i dont want to see robbie with another girl because that just does not suit his character...is shown to be madly in love and i would rather he stays madly in love with kasturi (a one woman man). he can take a base ball bat and practise it on kasturi and raunak all he likes, but i would like to see robbie still very much in love with kasturi till the very end...not only will i get to see karan patel perform (he is sooo good as the passionate lover), but it just suits robbies character. so i would love to see more mitwa tracks...if this is not possible, let raunak fall madly in love (throwing tantrum now)
raunak- jatin is looking very tired these days...anyway, about the character- well did anyone notice that he droops his shoulders like he has Mount Everest to balance on his back (yeh, i know he is married to Mount Kasturi)...no wonder he has lost his back bone. and i noticed the insaan dialogue...
dont have any comments about Mount Kasturi (maybe a trip back to the himalayas is due...she shoul take the40% share and the Singhania clan with her...when she comes back, maybe the fresh air would have cleared all the cloud and confusion in her mind...if even all that fresh pure air is not enough, she should stay stationed in the himalayas and maybe have a mounvrath for some time ...and when she is on her moun vrath, robbie can go there so that we viewers can see kasturi and robbiw minus the bashans...ofcourse, kasturi should send the singhania clan hunting for food when robbie lands there...and since i like raunak, instead of going hunting, raunak can just meditate and get a lot of rest ...much deserved since he was carrying mount kasturi till now...may be taichi would help...whatever when he comes back we want to see a new raunak full of attitude).
