Rupa Ganguly

Rupa Ganguly is exhausted and desperately wants to take a break from work, so that she can pay a visit to Kolkata, her hometown. The actress is finding it a little difficult to handle the work load at Balaji. At present, Rupa is playing pivotal roles in Balaji's Kasturi and Karam Apna Apna (also she is working in Anurag Basu's Love Story). The actress has been shooting for more than 12 hours at a stretch without any break, so far. Also the actress is feeling homesick since she could not go to Kolkata for more than a month.

Says Rupa, "Since the last few days, I have been working non-stop without a single day off. Since I am playing important roles in both Kasturi and Karam Apna Apna, the stress has been a bit much. Also, I am not used to the hectic schedules at Balaji. I need some time to adjust myself to the new set-up, since I used to work only eight hours a day in Kolkata. I am looking forward to take a break and go back home to recuperate."

Meanwhile, the actress has found an alternative way to unwind. Adds Rupa, "Whenever I get time I either read books or take a short nap. Now that I have cut down my assignments in Kolkata, I often miss being at home. But I am certainly enjoying my stint here in Mumbai and have no plans to quit the shows whatsoever."
