I just read Danielle Steele's book the Promise, which inspired the Hindi movie Vaada raha with tu tu hai wohi. And it is a beautiful story. Too bad they are not going to show it unless they want to kick Shubhangi out. The charcaters of Devika and Raunak are inspired from that book. Karan would have really suited the role of Michael but like an affair to remember it is not soap opera material.

well a piece of knowledge tat rarely ppl know abt tat movie is tat though d role was played by poonam and tina d voice was of jaya bacchan

think d director was so particular abt it

no yaar vo nahi hoga .

even in tat d mom was bad

the moment i saw her get hit and him waiting i totally reminded me of that.indian movie version Mann was horrible though.

You are right, the scene is similar to "An affair to remember" (btw, it is an awesome movie) but I think the similarities end there. I don't think Ekta can afford to have a heroine in a wheelchair in a daily soap.

Personally, I feel K will recover right away, but you never know, anything can happen!
