few more days passed away.
robbie's apartment:
robbie live in a 1200 square feet double bed room apartment in a posh area in delhi.he own that apartment.it has a big kitchen with all advanced electrical appliances like cooking range,micro oven,sandwich maker, bread toaster, fridge..etc...attached to a dinning hall furnished with six seater dinning table.a luxuriously furnished living room with a flat screen tv,...both the bed rooms are neatly decorated with costly curtains, bed spreads,pillows with a ward robe and attached bath room .
one fine friday (weekend) night.robbie was sitting in the living room couch and watching news in the tv.from the kitchen kabhir a 60 year old man came to the hall.
kabhir:'saab mai nay kaam katham kardiya...ab mai chaltha huon' he wants to leave.
you may be wondering who is khabir? lol KABHIR is robbie's servant who comes and does all the house hold work like cooking ,washing,cleaning...(he...he...he...i made kabhir as robbie's servant in my FF.wow i am sooooo happy today.)
robbie:'teek hai...'robbie switched off the tv and got up.robbie lives in that apartment all alone.i will let you know about his parents later.
robbie went to his bed room.he was so tired of his office work.he really really want to go to bed early.middle of his sound sleep his cell started ringing continuously.he don't want to wake up.unwillingly he opened his eyes,switch on the light and looked in to his wrist watch.it was night 2 am.
robbie"iss waqth par koun hai....?"with a question mark on his face he took the phone and attended.before telling hellow he said"k...y..a......?"
it was nanima's phone.'mai abhi aaraha huon" he jumped out of the bed ...grabed the cloths from his ward robe...wore it in no time,took the car key, pushed his feet in to the chappals...ran out of the appartment.since it was odd time there was not much traffic ...he could easily speed up.he parked the car in the city hospital...did not even care to close the door properly....ran in to the casualty department...no need for him to ask others ..he knows the way to casualty department .
when he reached the casualty he saw nanima and kasturi was standing and crying out side.he ran to them..
robbie:'sir ab kaisay hai...?" he asked them.but nobody was in a position to answer him..
robbie:'maasi ji" he went and hold her around her shoulder.
robbie:'dheeraj rakkheeyeah sir ko kuch nahee ho ga"he said to nanima......looking at kasturi.after some time doctors came out of the casualty room.all three rushed to the doctors.
robbie:' how is he?'
doctor:"he is out of danger now..." robbie sighed and looked at kasturi expecting her to calm down.
doctor:'with in a year time he got heart attack twice.it is really really risky...' kasturi got shocked to know that it is his second attack.
kasturi:"is this his second stoke...?"she never knew.that time kasturi was in UK and she was writing her mid term exams . robbie and nanima decided not to inform her.kasuri looked at robbie with a accusing look.tears rolled down on her cheeks.robbie felt sorry for her.he want to hug and console her....explain her the reason why they did not inform her.he gave a sorry look to her..
doctor:'ji...yeah wonka second stoke hai...he can't with stand third stoke...' doctor continued
robbie:'we want to see him"
doctor:'not now...he is still unconscious...we want to keep him under observation for another 10 hours...'
all three were waiting out side the casualty restlessly.kasturi was still crying.her small sharp nose and eyes became red.robbie looked at her...he felt she need somebody of her age group to console her.immediately he called some of her cousins . with in an hour time few more people gathered in front of casualty.Ranu one of kasturi's close cousin was sitting beside her and consoling her.
it is morning 9am.puru got his conscious.doctor came and told them " u can meet him...but not all together...make sure that he don't strain himself much"
kasturi and nanima went towards the room.robbie too want to go.cuz he is not just a boss to robbie...more than that.robbie lost his father 13 years ago.after that when he met puru he saw his father in him.when he came to know that puru was his father's friend he became more close to him.
robbie stood in his place and looked at katuri and nanima.nanima understood his feelings..she knows puru and robbie are how close to each other.
nanima:'robbie thum bhee aawo.." robbie don't want to miss this invitation.all three went inside.puru was liying on the bed.some time before only they removed the oxygen mask from him.he was looking very very dull and tired.kasturi and nanima went and stood beside his left hand side.robbie stood beside his right hand side.all three can see fear for death in his eyes.tears started rolling down again for kasturi.
puru:' k..as..tu..ri.." he called her in a very low tone.kasturi went and sat beside him.
puru:'kas...turi.. roow math ....."kasturi did not stop crying.puru looked at robbie and told him to come closer.robbie went and sat beside him on the other side and took his hand in his hand.
robbie:'sir aapko kuch nahee huwa..aap bilkul teek hai.." he too could not speak properly.
puru: 'i know i can't withstand one more stoke....muchay mayri fiker nahee hai..he looked at kasturi..muchay kasturi ki bahuth fikrhai...'
robbie: 'sir mai aapko kuch nahee honay dounga... kuch nahee hoga aapko..' puru did not listern to him
puru: 'robbie muchay ek waada karo...'
robbie:' boliyeah sir...'
puru:'waada karo...thum kasturi ka ghayaal rakko gay...'robbie looked at kasturi she was still crying.
robbie: 'zaroor rakghuon ga sir aap fikr math keejiyeah..... zindaghee bhar woon ka ghayal rakkonga...'he said emotionally.
puru was not satisfied with his waada.
puru:' issay nahee...thum kasturi say shaadi karlo......'
robbie taken aback he was speechless.he hold puru's hand with his both the hands tightly.
puru:'....thum kasturi say shaadi kalo...' he said again.robbie looked at kasturi.kasturi was completely blank.she don't understand what is going on.puru turned towards kasturi...touched her cheek with passion..
puru:'...kasturi..mana math karo.. mujay womeeth hai thumai robbie kush rakghay ga...sirf paisay say zindagee nahee banthee...'kasturi was crying.her tears made puru's hand wet.
puru;'thumai kuch nahee hoga dad......kuch nahee hoga..." ...puru closed his eyes for a while . tears rolled down from his eyes also.he opened his eyes...removed his finger ring and gave it to kasturi.kasturi understood what he was trying to tell.that finger ring had a ruby on it.she took the finger ring in her hand and looked at robbie.
puru took robbie's hand and showed to kasturi.robbie was still under shock😲.
nanima helped her to put the finger ring in his hand.it fit perfectly in his ring finger .in the same hand robbie was wearing a ring in his little finger which was his mother's.it is just a plane solid gold ring.no design in it.nanima removed that ring and gave it to robbie.he put the finger ring in her right hand ring finger.
puru was so happy to see this.he hugged both of them with his both the hands from both the side.tears rolled down on his cheek.
robbie and kasturi was still under shock😲😲...robbie looked at the ruby finger ring and kasturi.he wondered...every thing went on before he could think.he thought..'kaysaa hai yeah bandhan...???'...kithnaa ajeeb saa ....' he never expected that this could happen in his life.
till the nurse came and told them to go out they were with puru.they came out.
they were sitting out side for a long time.it was afternoon 2 pm.the doctor came and checked puru.
doctor:' he is improving very fast.still we can't discharge him now...'
robbie: 'when he is likely to get discharged...'
doctor:'may be night 9 pm u can check out...'
robbie told nanima and kasturi to go home.but they did not.till 9 pm they stayed there.after 9 they discharged puru..they all came sabarwal home.
