Kran's intentions

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what were Karan's intentions while he was telling all the lies to Ratna. I can not understand that

Was it that he wanted to tell Ratna all this so that she holds on to Anand so that Pia is available for him?

But didn't he realize that his talks would make Ratna even more insecure about Anand and that might drove her to get away from Anand..( which is happening currently), in which case Anand might go back to Pia and they get together forever and Karan doesn't get Pia at all..

I don't understand what were Karan's intentions? Anyone has ideas?

i don't know what his real intentions are.
i know he is crazy about pia.

i don't like him, he is too obessed with pia

well things are obvious as u sd neeti he lied to ratna si dat she restrains anand frm meeting pia n dat karan can have to himself

obviously he never realised dat his lies would increase the diffrences between ratna n anand which could eventually drive anand out of ratna's arms into pia's
