I almost thought that I could see some acting with the kind of shift in focus. Seems like these two don’t have it in them to pull off. I am not talking about any season as it’s not allowed.
Let’s see this as an independent story.
This season, this has been pathetic, pathological and non-sensical!
If Prerna getting kidnapped and marrying every man she comes across is termed as a story, then I fail to understand how it’s successful!
So basically, this story became about two individuals marrying separate people and barging into each other’s lives to claim their Haq and bully everyone in the process!
Make a joke of every possible ritual on earth with that crazy dramatic Sindoor Dhaga and claim their misery for their own foolishness!
That’s called love? Mistake yoh pata nahi, big lesson for EKta to focus on the storytelling rather than doing all that buzz and drama.
And, yes, let’s talk about the under-utilised potential of the ICONICS, they were iconic for a reason and people still love them more in real world.
Shows that no matter how good actors you bring, you can’t have a show without a story. Gone are those days of lousy dramas.
Look at smaller shows, they have meaningful content and seem to be working!
Poor storytelling and poor execution!
