Absolutely doesn't matter who plays RB, bcoz his character is so strong that it would have succeeded again, which the makers were too scared to let it happen.

And so, AB never had a chance as long as RB was in the picture.

@bold : precisely, that is why first time around they made him walk out on his own making way for AP and this time RB will be killed to make way for AP again ..

I remember one dialogue of RB where he said "Prerna tab tak Anurag ke paas nahin jaa sakti .. jab tak main nahin jaane na doon " or something on those lines ...

this season EK shdn't even have got RB, she could have managed with some guest characters like Viraj or Naveen .. and drive it as the leads on their own cannot slog it ., atleast RB's character arc would have been untainted without these sacrifices and fall in love and everything !

EK got the tag of RB this season to increase her viewership....basically people like us who would feed on crumbs which had the initials RB.

She knew that AP fandom was not enough to shoulder the show big success.

And now the protest has made a mess of all. If RB had been given the arc as before....yet again this show would have been a success like before.

It's the character I repeat that makes the show a success long before the actors play it out.

RB is just that man who cannot fail. He just has to be eliminated.

EK didn't want PreRish story, but AP story was not attracting her enough viewers...so RB tag was the bait

I feel it was too early to make a remake....should have given some more time for this reboot and thought through carefully.
