Is this show trying to self-destruct? - Page 2

They have given up on the show....they are now all over the place.... multiple sub plots with max ss to komo😤😤😤🥱🥱🥱 that has been a constant problem with the show...the continuous negativity...jate jate bhi I think they have no intentions to show some positivity...prelika challenge and function 🥱🥱🥱

Reading the WU, it just feels like everyone is going through the motions now. Else a show which would be in survival mode would try to bring some high points in the story. Bring some positive movement, and some happy times. But all this show is doing is piling up more unnecessary misunderstanding, with komolika the mastermind succeeding everytime. There's only so long the audience can watch every other character being a puppet in komolikas hands.

This feels like they're just filling up screen time with weekly tracks that have no rhyme or reason which don't move the story forward an inch. This week is this orphanage. Next is a hospital I guess. In between, fit in the next wedding function too. 🙄

In the end they will wrap up everything in the most unsatisfactory manner possible just a few episodes before the final one.

Other than no balance in screen space both Prerna and Anurag kind of fail or struggle to bring out the right emotions. They go overboard. If I may talk about Mandir medical camp scene- I mean parents with their lost daughter. I understand they are unaware but they do feel a connection. That scene if executed well should have been about Parents having a moment with someone who is as close as daughter but they made it about two lovers. Kab tak lovers stage pr rahenge?

People who go through the pain and trauma attain some maturity in their personality but these two have hardly evolved and I don't connect with that. Not saying mature people don't fight or get into a banter but the way they enact lacks any emotions.

So yes the show is in a self destructive mode because not it's not just the story that had shown any growth but the characters too have not adapted.

This is precisely the problem with possibly different people writing episodes or swaying the writing to garner TRP.

That scene should have shown Prerna sadder or atleast she should have had dialogues which convey pain. Anurag should have been dialogues where he struggles to ask about Sneha. But too much to ask, too busy with the flashbacks and fill the 20 minute timeslot.

Maturity over loss should have made Prerna more morose which Anurag should make note of. Even after their breakdown just the previous day, they would not be in a mood for a light banter.

Anyway if the show is done for, atleast make the effort to make it worthwhile the audiences' time or try.

Pre tells him sneha is dead. Anurag ki ghanti. Ting ting ting ting baji. N he will "regret" throwing pre off hoogly and feeding her to crocodiles ? Next week will be good..keep hoping.😆

I as an audience love only komo these days 😆 She is the smart one. And sassy one. And she is the best actor they have .

At present I am in a situation where I can't even justify why I even watch this show 🤣 I can't justify why Prerna should think about Anurag as her love or husband ya jo bhi. I can't justify why Prerna should maro fuk on Anurag's scratch during Mandir Medical camp. I can't justify why Anurag should shout at Komolika for Prerna's invisible dukh. I can't justify why Nivedita is after Bajaj. Ronit-Shivani shaadi is not even my list. I am ulta looking forward to it so that Komolika can yet again make Anurag and Prerna's life hell, because like.always I again expect them to give up instead of standing against their new kasauti. Komolika after samidha (girl irritates me) se zyada Komolika after shivani will be fun to watch 😃

And then Anurag comes home and shouts at Komolika to show he is capable of something. Komolika gets angry and executes another plan and Anurag signs another paper just because table pe coffee gir gaya. I can't understand his actions ever. Itni baat dhokha khake bhi he learns nothing. Sneha khula will be the most.phuski bomb is what my expectation is. Prerna already had cried on Anurag ka shoulders. Change ye ayega ki revenge revenge ki jagah she will be back soulmate soulmate along with "learnt from my mother's womb" 😒

Count me in. I want her to win. Woman is ready to do everything she can for her love. She believes in.fighting instead of running away at the first given oppotunity. It's my wish that numbers show some improvement and I get to see more of her. Waiting for Shivani entering BB and Komolika her best

Interesting thread and comments! This show has by far become the worst! I don't even know why they are risking lives shooting this SHIT..one would think that given all the depression and frustration people are experiencing in the real world with COVID lockdowns and otherwise, the entertainment venues will at the least provide some escapism by showcasing something positive and fun in our fake worlds! ..

but kzk is reaching new lows! how nice it would have been if they gradually unraveled the truth ..i dont even ask for anu pre reconciliation but at least make some positive progress! let anu realize what a shitty step he took by pushing pre off that bridge and let anu pre have some sane conversations!

instead we get shitty stuff like tearing down orphanages, marrying one's father's murderer's brother, allowing your father's murderer to roam scot free, utter rubbish shit show this has become ..so sad! parica are so good together ..the only thing EK can do well is pick really compatible lead pairs but somehow her stories are never ever satisfying!!! ..parth quit fast and give us something better!

i'm sure just like we didn't sign up to watch this shit the cast didn't imagine signing up to be a part of such a crappy story either!

I haven’t watched the last two episodes. ...couldn’t even finish the Written Update

Komolika is the most annoying character at present . I can’t stand the way she makes those faces .It was something new in 2002 ...not anymore . She keeps playing everyone and wins all the freaking time 😵 Yes she needs to just disappear from my screen ...please ! She has become so irritating that I prefer watching Sharmas and even Bajaj’s ‘aap strong ho Prerna jiii’ over her now. When the show is sinking , they keep on adding MUs between the leads. None of them have brains except Kom

Post AnuNePreKoKyunMara, I felt disconnected with AnuPre . It has become really hard to root for them as a a pair . Instead of showing angst...guilt , they are still stuck with nok- jhoks. I didn’t like the mandir scene this week . That scene would have been cute if Anurag and Prerna were regular parents and whatever happened between them never happened . The only scene I liked this week was Anurag- Samidha part ...the piggy back ride was cute.Also Anu- Kom scene was good because of the actors and new dialogues for Anurag (yeeeeiiii finally!)

The show is sinking because none of the characters are likeable now . There is an evil vamp who keeps planning, plotting all day and night and keeps winning too ...there is an FL who acts like a bimbo ...there is an ML who is majboor forever and doesn’t have any control over his life...he keeps trashing the FL in his mission ‘make her and the audience feel disgusted’ . Then there is a parallel lead who is clueless as always . Why and how will the neutral audience root for anyone here?😵

A lot of the heightened importance to Komo could be down to scheduling, and availability.

Also, the problem with this show is that

1) they don’t want to commit to a couple and keep pandering to both couples fan base. The show can’t move if All they do is structure tracks around Prerna going back/forth between Anurag and RB. The same makers do it in a more sophisticated manner in their other Zee shows.

2) despite the importance of Komo, there are way too many characters and too many sub plots without any headway to any arching theme. I personally have no issue with demolish orphange cuz it’s fictional and lol, it won’t happen.( Also, in reality buildings occupied by NGOs are vacated and move outskirts with MORE land). But, if you see, there is the dumb orphange track, then the Ronit- Shivi track, the Kuki kaushik track, Basus fearing Komo angle, the Bajaj Prerna angle and phew, the anurag- Prerna angle. Mein toh bolte bolte tak gayi.

Frankly, it’s so disjointed, you don’t miss any of the characters they don’t show.

At this point, the show is running on low engine. Il be surprised if it runs beyond 2020.
