Tbh the biggest nemesis of kzk this season has been its predecessor. Whenever the show has veered towards the same tracks, it has crashed. No one wants to see the same show they saw a decade back if there's nothing new. What's the point in that. And the entire meaning of a reboot is that the story changes. The character and the basis premise remains the same. And the basic premise of kzk is that Anurag and Prerna are 2 Star crossed lovers who never meet and live happily. It is their kasautii. And this premise has remain unchanged. Bajaj and prerna are not the main premise of kasautii, especially seeing that Bajaj in s1 was never meant to be more than a cameo. RR and Bajaj in s1 was an exception and not the rule. So it is a problem of expectation to watch thinking the same bapre story will get repeated. Why should it? That is not what kasautii zindagi Kay is about.

And coming to the actors. Again perceptions. I have found KP to be extremely average. When you add this on top of a very poorly characterized Bajaj, it's just a tragedy. But we cannot excuse the actors for bad scripts because even parica are dealing with the same bad script, character butchering and a story which is like a headless chicken. Parica as fairly newcomers stepping into iconic roles have worked at it and made their mark. Although they were aided by a better characterization (anurag) in the beginning. But still they've managed to make their place where anupre will be remembered by them. Whereas kp as well as his predecessor have failed to make any kind of mark, and are instead choosing to ride on the popularity of the character in the original which is completely another man's achievement.

Ultimately, the channel and makers are not insane to sink their own money. So they will only show what they think will keep them on air longer. And they will have a better idea of what works. Much, much better than us fans, who are all ruled by our own likes, dislikes and preferences and view everything through colored lenses.

I just want KP out of this mess. ie all . If it was any other actor I wouldnt have joined the forum. But KP gave me hope. He is one actor who can play Bajaj well. with angst , those darker shades and romance at same time.

This is really sad. No offense meant to you, please. In S1, though my favourite was always Bajaj, I equally enjoyed all the other three characters - Prerna, Anurag and Komo.

That's how the story was.

I hope Ekta is happy and basking in the glory of having successfully brought down one of her own creations.
