Only Rishab Bajaj knows what Prerna feels for and how sensitive she is when it comes to Sneha, he has been seeing her for the last 8 years , I am sure there were many emotional outbursts in the past which he has handled and he can fathom her despair .
The way he spoke about adoption, without using the word "adoption" is the way he was weighing every word he speaks so NOT to hurt her in any way, as words once let out cannot be taken back, so he was extremely cautious and thoughtful,

he is not sure how she would take the word adopt, without using the word adoption , he made sure he expressed what he felt, without slightly hurting her specially in a topic which is as sensitive as this Pre should be doing ,"aap aur samhidha ek khaas rishte ke daayre mein adhure hai "

He further explains like Samhida doesn't have mother's love and you have it in you and that he doesn't clearly say it and gives Kukki's example if u can be the best mother for Kukki , you can be for Samhidha also .... all his efforts with such gauged words so not to utter or express any word which might hurt her in a matter like this which is sensitive for her is absolutely aww worthy only a sensitive man would do so .

When he thinks he failed to convey it clearly, he asks her to ignore it ... that's when Pre says aap business mein bahut achche hai , par dil ki baath express karne mein , nods ... he immediately turns around saying I am sorry
but Prerna says "jis tarah se yeh baath aapne mere saamne rakhi , i don't think koi kar paata "
this is what she thinks , he was so sensitive and cautious while explaining it to her and that effort from his side is what touched her , he said without being insensitive or casual about it . which she liked
His surprised "really ?" was soo cute , as he didn't expect that he conveyed to her what he wanted to in a way she would like it ... when she acknowledges , he sighs with a deep relief as if he has accomplished a gargantuan emotional task .

The premise of the scene needed that patience, sensitivity, cautiousness , prudence and thoughtfulness from his end which he displayed.

Kudos to the writers , specially the dialogue writer for this ⭐️👏
