Maithili is indeed similar but I struggle to understand Bengali. Maybe it's due to the accent.

ok .. This is tagore's original bengali poem " Ananta Prem" from his Gitanjali verse .. Everlasting Love ❤️

. The original rhymes are soooooo blissful and soothing .. i just wish i could give you that original feels , but you won understand the accent

Tagore's songs and short stories are the treasure for our Bengali literature .. but i wish shruti one day you learn bengali and read tagore... ❤️

Tagore is my life , My heart beats ...i always say he is my first and last love ever.. his presence in my life is like a friend philosopher guide.. if u really interested in literature must try bengali once , just to know about him . yes you may find out his translate works in various language , but that essence will be missed always ..
