Hello everyone, I have never watched this show until now, and thanks to the Covid 19 situation and continuous WFH situation, I had an opportunity to binge watch the entire show in the last week and half.

What I like about you guys is, this is such an entertaining thread, you're not just calling out the bluff in Anuraag's character, but you're doing it in a humorous way, so it's a really funny thread of comments :) :D

Now about the father/lover situation, here is my take:

Anuraag the lover : I don't know why we all are so surprised, I mean he was never portrayed as a strong individual. His character was loving, endearing but honestly spineless to begin with. Look at how he is pushed around by his mother, sister, Komolika, Sonalika..literally everybody! He is a more glorified version of Anupam honestly. But I think why he is accepted by the audiences and loved by Prerna is because of his portrayal of a good guy - weak, yes but fundamentally good guy. Prerna fell in love with this weak human nature, soft, forgiving, understanding, accepting guy -so how'd you expect him to behave under extreme situations in life - duuuh he will f**k up royally! and he did - See I am not bashing Anuraag's character, honestly his weaknesses make him more human then the ML of most stories, where they portray the role of an ideal man - thats the beauty of flaw right? It makes one real. Anuraag is not perfect, but nor are human's in general. So yes, he failed as a lover when he couldn't fight for Prerna to keep it together but that's not inconsistency in the story, that IS Anuraag Basu

Anuraag the father : Honestly, I agree it it RIDICULOUS how he assumes the child will be with his mother and that he doesn't need to turn back and ensure they are fine, financially managing and the child is being taken care of. Ideally he should have negotiated with Komolika to keep the child with him, but giving it to his spinelessness I can give it to him for not trying that - then he should have just enrolled the child to an orphanage (which they did) and eventually bring her back somehow by adopting her explaining to the family he wants a child (Komolika wasn't likely to care now that she had what she wanted - him - and she needn't know this was the same child) - I know this is far fetched but it is still more foreseeable than his "assumption" that my baby is fine.

This is how I think the writers are now likely to close the logic loop of Anuraag's understanding as far as the child is concerned:

Probably when Komolika took the child to the orphanage, Anuraag knew about it, he was in agreement with this move (assuming the child will be safer away from him and Komolika and since he knew Prerna was alive, he knew she'd be able to get her from there) and later when Komolika found out about the fire incident at the orphanage, in order to hide the child's death, she must have come and told Anuraag that she has some info that some lady has adopted the baby and if Anuraag as any sensible parent has had the sense to run down to the orphanage to check, how difficult would it be for Komolika to bribe a few folks into telling him that 'a tall beautiful lady came and collected the child just before the place burnt down" and upon showing Prerna's pic from his phone, getting the confirmation that the child is with her mom. I don't see any other logical way of saving this logical idiocy in this track

Having said all that, I still root for AnuPre and always will because however flawed the narrative might be, the point they are trying to deliver across is that, however weak, flawed, confused and lost these two people are - the love they found is truly pure and unimaginably idealistic - which is kinda heartwarming and cute :) <3

It is very heart wrenching to see how CV has turned our Anurag from hero to villian. I always feel sad about it.just to make drama episode exceed 1000 it is trashing the story.it would be much better if they would have end much before but with happy ending.I am always attracted to kzk because of kind of love they protray which I believed can never be found in this world.the sacrifice (but the objective of sacrifice should be positive unlike this one) .I just hate cv to play with our feeling .my connection with kzk is from 2002 .I used to wait for the day when anupre will be united .I think this will always be a dream always.I just want to know why Anurag did not get any other option other than pushing Prerna. why he didn't take care or enquire about sneha .how he assumed she is with prerna.why always Mr Bajaj there to help her out.why can't Anurag and Prerna be strong enough to deal the situation by their own.just 💔💔.
