This is for those who like the idea if Rishab and Prerna as a couple, quick idea that came to mind I thought to share it.

OS KZK2: P&R - A dash of grey
Prerna walked into her bedroom at Bajaj house mid afternoon, it hasn’t changed she’d entered the house the same dark shades of blue and royal reds, all it reminded her of was how dull their initial relationship had been.
Mr bajaj sleeping on that couch and Prerna trying to be okay on his bed.
A lot had changed over a year Mr Bajaj no longer slept on the couch as the status of their marriage had changed over time.
It had gone from compromise to compulsion to comfort now.
The married intimate sort of comfort however this room was still stuck in the past.
It needed a make over, Prerna put her hair up in a quick knot, tucked the material of her pink saari into her waste and began shifting a few things here and there.
Turning a cushion, moving magazines, and some of Mr B’s smaller belongings he’d left lying around. An ash try at which Prerna pulled a face.
She then stood back to inspect her handy work, this wasn’t going to work.
It was need more than then this.
She picked up her phone and dialled his number.
Rishab who was on his way to a off site meeting in the car picked up the call via his hands free.
“Yes Mrs Bajaj”
She liked the way he called her that.
“Mr Bajaj I want to redecorate our room”
“I think it looks fine but agar aap chahti hai toh go ahead”
He never stopped her from doing what she wanted but she always thought it best to make it seem like she’d asked his permission.
“Great, can I get some help” she asks hoping Rishab could provide some bodies.
“Sure I’ll get Mehra to find you interior designer” he says concentrating on his drive.
“Nahin, I’d like to decide what it looks like just time from the house help will do.
“As you wish” replies Bajaj, leaving Prerna rather excited about her new project.

With not much time at all, the furniture in the bedroom was covered with dustsheets, there was pain brushes and painpots. Mehra was holding a ladder steady whilst Prerna cleaned a cobweb on a high celling.
Not only Mehra but Tanvi and Masi were also now involved. Picking and choosing colours based on Prernas direction.
“Mam maybe you should ask sir for help he’s pretty good at DIY he decorated a lot of Bajaj house himself.” Said a loyal Mehra who worried about the whole thing going very wrong.
“I thought the only thing Rishab coloured was his hair and he’s not done that for years either.” Remarked Tanvi making the women laugh a little even if they shouldn’t have.
Prerna gave the more sensible answer.
“Woh sab theek hai Mr Mehra but your boss isn’t as young he used to be” kal ko unki kamar mavar toot gayi toh she said casually without realising Mr Bajaj had heard her.
Yes he was home.
“Urhmmn!”- Rishab clears his throat on purpose so they knew he had overhead.
When Prerna turned on the ladder a little to see the entrance of the room she saw her Husband stood tall and authoritative with little kookie in his arms.
The room had gone silent, Tanvi bit he’d tongue, masi tried to think of what she could say but nothing came to mind, Mehra simply watched on never having seen another side to his boss than the business man.
“Pa how old are you?” Asked Kookie as a result of what she had heard everyone else saying about Rishabs age.
Prerna feels a little embarrassed for putting her foot in it.
Older than you but not as old as masi he says with a smile to his daughter, masi will explain alright sweetheart. He places a kiss on kookies forehead before handing her over to Masi.
Tanvi and Masi leave with Kookie , followed by Mehra.
Leaving just Prerna to pick up the pieces.
She steadily steps down from the ladder whilst Rishab takes off his blazer, slips his hands into his pockets and looks around the room. She watches his eyes slowly take note of the room.
“Too old am I ?” He says softly at Prerna who is stood next to him. She didn’t expect such a direct question especially when she’d hoped he’d just let it pass him by.
“Ji ? She says in a little surprise Woh I didn’t mean it like that.. You’re just ..” lost for words she didn’t look at him either.
“old ?” He said looking to his side to see how his wife would respond.
“Nahin (No) she said almost instantly”
He curiosity was now turning into teasing but he didn’t want her to see that so he kept a straight face. He turned to her now to see how she’d react
“It wasn’t a problem last night was it
or the night before that?? I though you liked it that way, I didn’t know it bothered you.” - Oh god he was making her blush, why did he have to talk about it like that, she felt like a terrible wife.
He began to creep closer to towards her, his eyes on her almost in a intimate sort of way.
“You’re not old, she tried to console but was probably just making it worse.
“Just little grey that’s all” he stepped a little closer again and she stepped back.
“Accusing me of being a dark character Mrs Bajaj?” He had twisted what she was saying. What Prerna saw was her talk handsome silver fox of a husband closing the distance between them in a very alluring, authoritative sort of manner.
Whilst Rishab watched his beautifully innocent wife turning into prey in his presence.
“Nahin” (No) she didn’t say he was a grey character.
He raised an eyebrow at her her before forcing her back to hit the wall. Prerna knew that look in his eyes, he had indecent intentions, the way in which he hovered into her neck and placed his lips into her neck line was a confirmation.
“Please” Prerna said as she felt his lips in the crux of his neck and his fingertips explore her waist line.
“The paint will get spoilt” she manages to muffle amongst the other feelings trying to make an excuse for why this was inappropriate.
“It can be repainted” he says in his deep voice.and I don’t like the colour anyway”
“You don’t?” She asks trying to keep Clarity in her words despite what he doing to her.
“No paint it Grey”.. he commands
Prerna smiles at how that didn’t seem like such a bad idea now.
