Yeah it can swing either ways..depends on how viraj as a character is and what they do with him

There are multiple ways to look at the same thing. I shared mine and you shared yours.. none of us really know how audience watches the show because if its leads story at the end of the day then leads without any villian wouldn't have registered lowers TRP. So something makes me believe viewers just watch whats their on the screen. They watch it if it entertains them and leave it if not fir chaahe leads entertain kare ya villians. If CVs can't come up with a proper story with leads then Villians like Komolika might add that Tadka element like Charu also mentioned. Till week 52 it was mostly Komolika and Prerna fighting some wierd fight for me.

But yeah from week 53 onwards I would look forward to Anurag's character as it will definitely be interesting to see how it converts into numbers. Because he did get meaningful screen space.

So lets watch it the way we want to 👍🏼

Nice write up yaa on the trps..

Therr must be a reason why a pure vegetarian show like ye rishta had to employ third wheel tactics to stay in the trp race ...its unfortunate actually, otherwise from.the very beginning it sustained only on the positivity maintained in the serial, strong hero who always stood by his wife/lover , and the lady going through all the ups and down ..I guess negativity works more here bec the curiosity factor is up..while ekta k has stuck to the age old "angry young man" righteous heroine , formula in her new serial, all major sp serial heros have always been good boys..like naitik kartik sooraj abir rohit etc ..only ekta k is stuck in time while all other shows works equally well with positive tracks ..leads r dumbed down to some level but at least no defined villains n vamps r there n s story which drags to death..I will chk out their trps too..😆

Abhi ke liye I am trying to figure out why only komo works in kzk 😆 obviously along with the leads who r dumbed down to this extent to accommodate komo..

True very difficult to pedict TRP or even the reason for rise or fall but following the pattern has been pretty interesting as in case of KZK both Komolika1 and 2 have shown improvement in numbers.

KZK CVs have been forever confused and lazy. They have done injustice to every character..

Its a mystery .. may be her performance which at times makes you like her even after all her wierd acts. May be she adds that surprise element because her end result is prdictable that she will loose but uske plans are ek se bad kar ek and cringy.

@bold: Any story without villain even when the lead is a superhero doesn't work..... Villain is needed to create an interesting situation between leads.... I think that's how it always is......

But the problem here is whenever we get some free time with AnuPre they start promoting Villains VIGOROUSLY..... Instead of promoting AnuPre....

I believe that's the reason for fall of Trps.....

After Naveen Babu exit also... Instead of promoting AnuPre and their love story they promoted Komolika soooooo much.. hence trp dropped....

And after KOMOs exit just when people are enjoying AnuPre just then... We got VERY Much in the face promotion of Bajaj... Hence trp dropped....

During marriage it increased briefly because of the DRAMA and people's curiosity as to Anu will be able to stop marriage or not.... And then it dropped.....

Why do I feel new character Viraj will be the new scapegoat, though he was hardly shown if numbers go down and Anurag will take away the pie if numbers go up or stay stable coz his screen space definitely increased multifolds in week53 🤔

I dunno what trp audience expects..I mean here at my mammas place sp is on from 8 to 10 , n they watch anything ..my mom was asking me "wasnt she married to bajaj"🤣 this is how they watch it..yes my niece loves jinn so mostly sp is on In the wait of jinn in my house..

I love komo ..I mean she is one vamp who doesnt make me cringe..bec I feel so disconnected from the leads..may be the audience is also watching it like"no expectation serial " kuch bhi dikhao sab chalega..komo #2 is working but for how long can they drag it ? Till what time will prerna be pregnant and till what time will anurag have memory loss and till what time will anurag and prerna not marry? Like carry on with this 0.5 shadis

I find a huge contradiction in these two statements. If people watch it for leads and are clear about their preference then promotion shouldn't affect them. They were heavily promoted by huge stars in the beginning I have heard but CVs couldn't keep up the content upto the mark with the kind of promotion.

I remember Anurag-Prerna were promoted in the last track even before Komolika made an entry but it didn't convert into numbers. Rather their was a phase when Bajaj had gone and Komolika wasn't there much that was the worst TRP phase for KZK.

And as far as Komolika being promoted is concerned she was promoted coz she was a new entry, a new addition to the show. She even got them results. So that could also be the reason why Villians are promoted more sply Komolika becuase it gives them return or interest.

@bold- I hope they make the track interesting be it anupre or no anupre.

I like her too on screen. Sometimes I wonder if Amna and Erica reverse their roles .. how would it be.. Amna plays the protagonist and Erica plays an antagonist 😁 Please don't kill me for a harmless wish.

They may not be able to drag her for very long and thats why we have Viraj to give killing plans a little break and see if audience is so disconnected yet that they won't mind a new character for sometime. If things go south again to Komolika bacha legi jabtak they plan another kasauti. CVs trust their writing better for villians than a watchable love story it seems. Effort hi nahi dalna hai unhe lovestory mein. Audience se zyada they have given up.

Cassiop... All I am saying is that the makers can give a positive promo for once.... But no they are hell bent on showing this dragfest of pain and suffering while fighting for their love..... The audience are clearly showing their preference repeatedly... Maybe this time the makers understood what the viewers want to watch.... Let's see....

And yes in the beginning they were promoted by SRK and the first track that is the NB track was a very hit track and I believe the best track till now..... And also trps were very good until around Jan,2019 when Komolika promo was released and then the trps slowly gradually started falling except for some high points.... Until prerna came to BB... Too much of komo even without pre fighting those days....ugh....

Whenever they take old route they flop except when they show something different.....

And in the last track... Komolika entered immediately after Bajaj's exit isn't it.... And yeah AnuPre were promoted once and no AnuPre centric promo till now..... That too last we got was during festivals.... Rest you can understand right....

And lastly we can discuss all we want for however long we want but ultimately we can't be sure about anything....as you said it's hard to predict anything based on TRP......

Let's see what the future brings.... I toh hoping good things for AnuPre and also am sure 99% that its Good only.....fingers crossed...

Its hard for us to predict anything be it TRP, promos as we arw unfortunately not equipped to find the reasons so we share our thought and views. Mine are mostly based on present/current situation so I would be happy to engage in future conversations. Like I said next week its Anurag's presence on screen and Viraj's entry as Komolika-Prerna ugly fights did take a back step. I past 6 months ever since I started the show AnuPre on screen have not really gained a lot of numbers but it can change in future..
