This is my first-ever Ficlet on PreRish. Don't know how it is. Please ignore the typos and do comment.
Rishabh woke up and looked at his sleeping wife. She was sleeping peacefully by keeping her head on his chest. Rishabh knew that she will wake up, so he did not make any noise.đ
He slowly removed her head from his chest and put it on her pillow.
'Thank God, she didn't wake up! Otherwise the whole plan will be ruined!!! He said to himself and went out of his room on tiptoes, like a thief.
He went into the study and took out the big bouquet of red roses and the gift box from their hiding place.
Phew! Hiding anything from her is so difficult! He said as he wiped the sweat from his forehead.
As soon as he entered the room with the gifts, his mouth became a perfect O.
Prerna was sitting on the couch, with a Big Smile on her face and a big chocolate cake. đ
'Do you think I am a fool to forget our 5th Anniversary?' Prerna smiled cheekily.
Rishab facepalmed.
'I can give surprises too.' Prerna continued.
Rishabh was about to kiss her, but the twins cried in their cots.
'Hush, Prem and Kasak!!! We are coming!'
The parents rushed to the 6 month olds.
'The happiest anniversary!!!' concluded PreRish, after again putting the kids to sleep.
