Pregnancy is not the problem for most of women in the society for doing works.

When we talk about job hierarchy in society, pregnant women in labour market from the cleaning service to executive levels ( Doctors, women engineers, women in administration services, education field etc.) are working before one week/one day of her delivery. Sometime they are doing night shift too.

Most of housewives are doing all household works, some hard works even on the day of delivery.

We are talking today empowerment of women. If the women pregnancy comes to surface as a hurdle for working women, concept of women empowerment will be a failure and won't be able to achieve in long run.

Working during the pregnancy period or not is totally depending on women's attitude, her strength and health conditions. I believe Prerna is a very strong girl who could be able to work some extent with her pregnancy and bear all burdens. 😃

I don’t disagree with you at all. It’s Prerna’s characterisation which is the issue. She’s never shown any interest in her career. I’m sure she could handle it if she wanted to but unfortunately she’s too busy with keeping Onu alive.

Yes. I agree with you. The story line does not bring message to viewers that how young girl survives in society by herself. Prerna is always choosing easy way to comport her life. She is always trying to live in her comfortable zone. Anu is her love and her life. I believe, we realize "what is a real mean of love" after the marriage.

Prerna is willingly doormat of Basus and doormats are only used by people(Basus), not for any kind of respect, love and care. Prerna's sass is only exist when her ultimate goal and dream(Being Basus doormat forever)would be under threat and she will go through any kind of kasautii so that her dream shouldn't be shattered by any Komolika and Bajaj.😎

From since the earlier komolika track when basu insulted her in front of his family and komo even though it was fake he still said it and did it. That was when prerna should've left and never looked back. That would've been the first independent step she took. Rather than chase after basu leave him and if it's meant to be it's meant to be. Instead she spends majority of the show chasing after basu and his family. If this is how prerna character is suppose to be then there has to be some misunderstanding because Erica had said earlier in an interview how prerna is strong, fights for her family etc. however they are proper ways to show this. Prerna is only these things when it comes to basu not for HERSELF. And the smart thing is that the writers show soulmates romance in an attempt to cover up how badly prerna is written because let's be honest people fall for the romance more than how the character is written. That why they wanted to trend on prerish marriage instead of trending and boycotting how the character prerna is written.

At some point it gets exhausting watching the female lead in an abusive repeated cycle. Yes I said abused because that's what she faces in that household abuses.

Prerna will never ever learn. Because she is blinded by her toxic love for Anurag. She cannot see anything beyond it. Not even her parents insults hurt and sufferings. She will sacrifice her parents in order to be in the good books of Mohini just so that she is accepted into BB. This way she can stay close to Anurag. She was more interested in saving her relationship with Anurag than worry about her mother being in jail. She is a pathetic portrayal of 21 century women!

Prerna has Zero self-respect and self worth. Her only identity is that she is Anurag's lover/mistress and mother to their illegitimate child. The only inspiration she is capable of giving to people is how to be Sassy without having any real substance i.e., zero self respect and self worth. Empty vessels make more noise, she is like that, she take a high moral ground when she has no morales herself and is all big talk and no real action.

In fact she is a college dropout with no dreams or aspirations other than serving the members of BB. Prerna's real status in Basu Bari is that of a Glorified Maid or Glorified Governess and she takes up this position with pride. Intact, it is a job that she has taken it upon herself just to be relevant in BB and find an excuse to live there. Otherwise BB has loads of paid maids. Her own mother and granny are old and may require her help and care is of no concern to her. Her old mother is working to make ends meet, bit she being an educated women cannot be bothered to work and earn for her mother. For her, it is more important and prestigious to work as a Governess at BB and day dreaming about Anurag 24*7 than financially help her mum and granny! She neglects her own family members to care of people who don't really care 2 hoots for her and barely tolerate her due to their son.

I cannot digest the fact that she called herself Anurag's wife! It shows that she never paid attention in school and college, else she would know some basic things.

Dhaaga marriage broken by Anu himself. Putting Sindoor in front on an idol does not make u married. Had that been the case, all actresses would have had multiple marriages with all the actors they have enacted marriage sequences with. I was hoping she would have this much basic common sense that Sindoor marriage has no validity whatsoever. Haan, Dil behelane ke liye and one night strand ke liye theek hai yeh reason. Bus!

However, even after knowing that Sonalika is Anurag's wife now she claims she is his wife as well. It is a fact that Komolika is indeed the legally wedded wife and Prerna does not know that Sona's marriage is a sham or that Sona is Komo. So, Prerna basically does not care or respect another women's marriage too. All she cares is about her relationship with Anurag. What if Sona was a real and genuine person! She would still try to break that women's marriage for her own selfish needs! So, Prerna is doing what she accused Komolika of doing to her, trying to snatch another women's husband. In fact, I don't think she really cares about others feelings. If I remember correctly, Anurag and Prerna had a one night strand while Anurag was still engaged to Mishka!

And the worst part is despite being shown the door, she will justify the actions of BB people and later try to claim her non existent Haq on Anurag. The truth is by all accounts Sona is the legally wedded wife while Prerna is just Anu's lover-cum-mistress. I am using the term mistress or the other women for Prerna coz that is what the society will deem her to be since Anurag is married. The samajh has already seen her raasleela with Anurag when she was married to Bajaj. So to the society, she is someone with loose morales, zero self respect and zero self worth.

A women this blind and shallow will never learn. I hope the makers stop portraying 21 century women like this. It is a joke and an insult. What kind of message are the makers trying to convey? I so so so wish Prerna's trials and tribulations now result in her waking up from the slumber, get her head out of the clouds and she has a self realization of some sorts and finally grows a spine.

NB track did very well, the actor was fabulous in acting and can give run for money to any lead here..S1 Komo or Bajaj may be popular but what has S2 Komo and Bajaj done other than riding on the high expectations of last season and in one case leading to morass of TRP to end the track abruptly.

It is time people start treating this Season with fresh eyes specially for importance of character if not for story itself...There is NO reason to believe what worked in Season 1 shall work in 2..This was never true for movies or other serials and it is quite clear it is not true for S2 in last one year.

You are free to disagree with me or in fact everyone, but the fact is, Naveen Babu is as forgettable as some Ronit in KZK2.0 and as I said, if and when there will be any kzk3.0, people will still look forward to see who plays Bajaj and Komo, and give two hoots about Naveen, because to get audience gripped to the character, one needs to play a multi dimensional character like the ones I mentioned, not the creepy and pervert Naveen Babu types, with whom the only question audience will have in mind is whether he will end up as a rapist or not (as that's the next level of his already repulsive actions). And no one waits to see that kind of character ever. Audience is repulsed from such character, not attracted. There's a reason why Gabbar and Mogambo are celebrated till eternity, and not Ashutosh Rana from Dushman.

Wow! I really feel the passion behind this post. 👍🏼Needless to say agree to it, most of it anyway. The societal perspective doesn’t bother me personally, I don’t believe in labels. It’s her own of self-worth which really irks to me to no end. She has to give herself something more than to be a pushover for the Basus. She just goes crawling back as if nothing has happened. They haven’t even shown her bothered about her unborn child, nothing!
