GREEN - We all r matured adults and there is no need for ANYONE on this forum to hide if we convey our opinions in respectful way...and THE SECTION you are talking about....are you going to take action on the whole bunch of ppl just bcoz u didn't like my comment....now m just wondering, as u commented above, am I really the one who is targeting anyone?

U used the word mods ....oh u didnt target anyone!! If u can be general abt mods and their actions give advice ...why cant I be general and call the section out? hypocrisy much and what actions ? if its a free forum to voice opinions where does the fear of actions come from ?

Yr comment was edited basis the rule already in place and next time if u want to target us do it better!

dhaga/ms can be broken, sindoor can be wiped. symbols are just symbols. then why give importance to traditional marriages and spend lakhs of rupees on these non-important rituals. just to play wedding games and eat Shaadi Ka Laddoo?

just asking.

Sorry to butt in, I saw this post, the previous quoted post and the one before that as well.

1. Bonds don't need a sanction as marriage if it's pure. Marriage is an eventuality people take up because it beautifies their relationship, it adds more value, if they are in love. Why did the dhaga marriage happen? (Never saw it, didn't understand either).

2. If that happened, AnuKom marriage isn't valid. Accepted.

3. Wiping off Mangalsutra and removing the Sindoor doesn't negate a marriage, in India. People still have to go to courts. But I believe, they did that coz their dhaaga marriage was incomplete and when it is incomplete, it is not a marriage. (I think this was shown, not sure).

4. Assuming it was complete and shit, the whole wiping off shit was wrong. People who don't apply Sindoor are not considered married, is it? Not sensible.

5. Why that idiotic removal ritual came about? Even though it has no basis, no legal validity. Coz they wanted to validate the marriage that was to happen.

6. In their POV, the first marriage was incomplete, so it could be nullified and it WAS nullified.

7. So, the second marriage happening was complete. This was their intention. The CV's.

8. Coz otherwise, A could have claimed, she got married to me, so her marriage with Bajaj is not legal and she is still my wife. He isn't claiming that now. He's claiming soulmate, love, life, heart, breath, everything. But not wife.

On a side note, I wish they had shown A saying I am the husband and they hadn't annulled the marriage and shit. Would have been fun for a change. When a woman can fight for her rights as wife, a husband can fight for his rights too. 😆 But this is TV, so they can't do that.

To answer your question, tangible proofs don't make a marriage. But the tangible attributes represent something which the CVs coolly annulled. Coz otherwise, what is happening here is bigamy. If their bond or marriage exists, then P is A's wife.

Their emotional bond exists, marital bond doesn't, in their opinion.

Hm ..I still can't fault find Prerna for doing the Arti with Anurag - in fact I quite like it - for me rituals are what my heart wants me to do - I cannot be bound by rules and regulations that make me do something i don't want to do - See, it's not like God himself or herself came down to earth and laid out a bunch of rules to be followed by the humans - it was people generations ago who formed religions and came up with these tenets ..and all human beings are equal ..just because these people were born generations before us doesn't give them the authority to write stuff that dictates how we behave - I am not being offensive or trying to mock anything … at their generation, perhaps these rules gave them more order to life back then .. I come for a very religious family ..actually my great great grand dad was a priest in india - and when my great grand mom used to be alive and we visited india ..she would have all sorts of rules ..like if her DIL was on her period she couldn't sit on some pieces of furniture or enter the kitchen or do puja ..and like what - God didn't make these rules ..some human made these rules eons ago ..that now seems so bloody unfair to us women ..and some families in india still follow these unfair rules till date ..when asked why they do that ..they say cos the woman is considered "unhygienic" ..like what?! ..I am extra clean when i'm on my period and as long as a woman is taught how to maintain hygiene what does it matter what she does ..

so all i'm saying is that ..in MY and only MY opinion the rules and rituals written were relevant when and where they were .. it was not God who manifested and made these rules ..but instead it was the founders of the respective religions ..so if one doesn't find them applicable in today's day and age - one needs to politely question and refute ..and questioning doesn't mean mocking .. my cousins home in india still follows the rules of how a woman should be when she's on her period ..and she follows it because of her MIL ..and I respect that ..but if I were in her place I wouldn't follow that ..I would perhaps pack my bags and take a vacation rather than stay at home and be told which part of the home I can be in and can not!!

anyway to each his own ..but all i'm saying is that ..if your heart wants something, just go for it ..as long as you are not doing something that is morally, ethically incorrect or something that will prick your conscience ..yes, if prerna is meeting Anurag on the sly and sleeping with him without B's knowledge then it's wrong ..but if she tells her husband - hey my marriage to you was a deal and I still love anurag and i'm going out on a date with him - then the husband can suck it and Prerna's conscience is clear as she is not hiding anything!

alright ..i wrote a bunch ..I always get riled up when topics of rules and religion come up ..because where i volunteer, I see that a lot of women are oppressed and domestically abused simply because of rules that arise from religious beliefs that were formulated centuries ago.. :))

She's not obligated to perform rituals with B. She can say she doesn't believe in her heart that he's the husband, though socially he is. And she can believe to be her true lover. But, somehow, the fact that she believes in her heart that A is her true husband (IF she does), doesn't go down well with me. Coz those things and rituals are for people married to each other. And for people who would be or want to be married to each other. Being married to one and wanting to be married to another are totally fine, coz the heart wants what it wants. But keep rituals out of this. Your heart's wishes do not need validation from God. God doesn't come and tell you, this love is pure. That love is not pure. Etc. People do what they want. Go ahead. Don't seem validation from God. This is my view.

Thank you for the kind words.

I agree i wd be more careful with words henceforth...

Liked the way u explained...simple yet in clarified manner 😊.... As u r definitely not happy, u could hv gone aggressive n wrote harsh words...but u maintained a poise....a perfect example for everyone on this forum, not only solo stans but also couple stans, mods and neutral fans on how to reply in polite and respectful manner... smiley31

To each his own. Religion is finally your own interpretation if that gives you peace, so be it. I disagreed so I mentioned. We'll agree to disagree. ;))

Agreed.

Breaking dhaga marriage broke many viewers hearts too and many of us thts y mentioned tht its an insult to the institution. They wanted to fit in bajpre marriage so dhaga toda shaadi toot gayi. If ulte phere lene se shaadi nahi toot ti toh dhaga todne se shaadi kaise toot gayi. Pre claimed herself mrs basu in front of whole world and they conveniently annulled it. But alas CVs cudnt find anything else for the convenience of the script.

We r living in times where livein couples have legal rights. They r committed too. So this was bad. And thts y i judge CVs big time.
