It's surely a criminal offence. Running away from the accident spot is a criminal offence. And whether he came back to check on him is lolworthy argument.
It’s a grey argument 😛

He may be wrong. But my point is , under the law also, the person with the vehicle which is capable of causing serious hurt or death is always more at fault so he is liable to be punished for negligence . When we drive most of times its a split of the moment mistake of either the person in front of you or yours..but see mr bajaj confessed that he "saw" anurag and sped his car..that's not even an accident which is unintentional. Nobody will buy his freezing brain theory . He should be punished for the crime he has committed. period.
Mobile was in one ear , he could have easily heard the horn if someone cared to warn..there is no justification for running over a person like that..
Dear Charu,
I totally agree with your first para. Exactly. Mr. Bajaj must be punished for his negligence and avoid the occurrence of accident.
In second para, I disagree with you. Yes. Person has a other ear to hear. But, the attention is totally on the phone and the message whatever bring by the caller. Observe carefully while you are driving on the road. People do not have any concern about their surrounding when they use their mobile phone on the road. When they are crossing the road, look at people those who use mobile phone and their behaviour.
Even think when you drive and answer the call. In one point you loose your attention on your driving and attention goes to the message over the phone. That is the reason in most of countries, people are charged if they use mobile phone while they are driving. Because, number of accidents are very high due to mobile phone.
However, in the story, Mr. Bajaj should be punished and hope Prerna will bring the justice to Anurag. Prerna got married to Mr. Bajaj with the aim of protecting Anurag. Now she has failed. Mr. Bajaj has broken the promises what he promised her at the marriage.
Seriously !Mr bajaj is excused because it was by mistake ? 🤢
Yes because Anurag and his life is of no consequence. He who even tries to save those that were hell bent on harming him like Komo or Ronit is not to be empathized if it meant the great Bajaj has to be held accountable for an intentional hit and run. HE DID HIT INTENTIONALLY...ADMITTED BY HIM CLEARLY...but let it be now.
Trying to pit Anurag marryng Komo and humiliating Pre at that function to make her move on (without knowing that Pre was pregnant), hitting Pre, "stalking" her after she ditched him on their wedding day and getting married to his greatest enemy, his soulmate jaap...all are things he has done with someone who he loves and who had loved him just as much and given him every right to go after her considering how she went after him too after komo marriage. He is not going after some ayeri gayeri lalhky or some random person he saw on the road that people so conveniently forget. Every single thing he is accused of Pre has done to him too. But Pre is given a free chit because they understand she sacrificed for love...and Anurag did what he did just for kicks or for his own benifit and nothing to do with helping Pre or her family???? Really????
But all his actions have been held to justify some random stranger hounding them without their knowledge and due to no fault of their own having done nothing to him.
The love of his life got snatched from him, crucial evidence that would set him free from a murder charge was withheld intentionally, and now he is hit with a speeding car also intentionally because apparently Bajaj had every right to be angry at the same person who he had done so much injustice to and is actually so called harassing him because of what he has done to him....
Now coming to bajaj..
Giving him benifit of doubt n agree dat his intention was not so..he dint want..
He was not in his sense..but does this justify the accident n crime he attempted??
If court gives judgement based on intentions then none would go to jail..
Coz at least 50% people commit the crime out of their sense..n they r meant to..
N even if u do it intentionally..u can say I have not done it purposely..simple..none would b given punishment...
I agree bajaj had no intention..i believe in intention more than ur deeds..
Sometimes u r intend to do right but it turns out to b reserve .but it does not make u bad person..
But this is ok unless it hasn't harmed someone physically...emotion hurt (not bigger one like depression or stg) still ok till an extent. ..
But here bajaj with no intention harmed anurag who is at verge of dying so ur intentions were right or wrong does not give u free pass..
Someone is dying coz of u so what will the intention do here..
Ok u can't be tagged as bad person but still u r entitled to punishment for a server crime...
In rape case also many a time people have no intention of committing crime but in d moment they attempt the crime..but will it justified if rapist come n say..it was not intended...
The famous nirbhaya case is the example of this "No intention" crime
It does not matter in this case..coz u have harmed d person mentally n physically...
In my opinion bajaj should be behind d bars..
If not prerna basu family should do d honours...

I agree with you. I was only pointing out the legality of it in India. Mistake may completely be of the pedestrian or a two wheeler or othrr driver but the crime and punishment doesnt change..law takes its course of action and law is more generous towards them than us who drive cars....in India there are no laws for pedestrians.. I know its bad..lack of education and awareness..I reside in a city which is one of the best in India in terms of following rules, order basically . Of course it's better than any metropolitan like delhi but traffic situation is still the same. There are accidents due to drunk driving due to over speeding..sometimes innocents are killed because they are just passing by ..so In any part of india its better to drive carefully, specially where rules are followed because people love to break rules. I am normally more scared to cross the green signal than red bec when it's my green other person will definetly cross the red one..that's a joke with us punjabis. Lol
There is a fine for using mobile while driving but not while crossing the road.
General knowledge..😊
Since he is an experienced driver. Bajaj was not aware of brakes in his car.

Absolutely . Now criminal acts are also nornal for a gray character. If it was kuki in place of anurag and anurag has hit her down "by mistake " , I would like to know the reaction here. Damn the apologies. Send him behind bars what is he doing in bb?😡
Exactly Charu I remember how Anurag is blamed for that one slap to Prerna for which he immediately apologised but Bajaj can get away with anything bcoz he said he is no saint

Anurag was clearly jaywalking. No doubts abt that. Sadly Jaywalking is not a punishable offense in India like in other many developed countries.
And those who dont know Google it. . It doesn't give an excuse to Bajaj though to hit him . And then just panic and come back later.
Bajaj will go to jail. But he is no murderer.
Even as per Indian law, he cannot be charged with murder.
I agree he is not a murderer but definitely need to face punishment under hit and run case. Which probably won't be shown as Bajaj is a hero and no saint so he would escape any and every offence with his head high. 👍🏼
EK Mata aapke charan kahan hain I want to hold on to them and...... pull you down to the floor 😡🤣
