What does loyalty mean here?

A genuine question which comes into my mind and it's really not about the show as such but yes it arises in my mind after reading todays update.

The dictionary meaning of loyalty is :

Loyalty is the quality of staying firm in your friendship or support for someone or something.

When we talk about loyalty towards any relationship, that really means that a person who is loyal to the other person won't do anything that's harmful to that person. Also it means to prevent the other person from doing something which may harm him or her. In that process we might need to take certain steps which might look a bit harsh initially but in the long run make the other person a better human being. It's something like a kadvi dawai which is meant to cure an illness.

Here in the show for the past few months we all have been hearing the word loyalty repeatedly. What exactly is loyalty which Mr Bajaj expects from his wife and what Prerna promised her husband? Does loyalty mean helping him in a situation like today? He is responsible for someone's accident or rather I should say he believes he is responsible as nothing is clear till now. So what should be the definition of loyalty for Prerna here ?

Does that mean helping him even if he is actually guilty? Or let the truth come out even if it goes against her husband? I'm quite sure this particular track is meant to establish the new pair but my post isn t regarding that.

I genuinely want to know what does loyalty mean in today's episode scenario?

Please share your opinions and try not to make this post as Anurag vs Bajaj please. Its only and only for understanding the loyalty clause between the new married couple. So thats my request🤗

That's the issue Waidehi then why are they causing our ear bleed with this word from both husband and wife since the marriage track started🥺pehle samjhao to loyalty hoti kya hai and yahan kahan loyalty dikhti hai ?I really wanna know here can anyone help

Loyalty should be in how you view your relationships. For example Prerna is a woman in love with a man who is not her legal husband. Legally she is loyal to her husband, withstanding all acts of infidelity. But as a woman in love her emotional chord with Anurag keeps her tied and loyal to him as well. It’s easy to be torn. It’s easy to continue to fight to do as your heart wants and not as rules and norms dictate. So ultimately I guess it depends on your own view. Is the legal relationship you’ve chose to commit to the one that holds more weight, or the love that sets you on fire and keeps you warm on the loneliest nights of said legal relationship? While I can agree that Bajaj’s entrapment of Prerna was very much blackmail driven, that is a relationship that in spite of herself she’s chosen to now commit to. That doesn’t mean she loves Anurag any less because clearly it doesn’t. But her priorities as Mrs. Bajaj ultimately clash with her identity as Prerna the woman who loves Anurag. So she had to decide where her loyalty holds more weight and in that relationship she feels her loyalty brings her to the ultimate goal, which for her was to keep anurag safe and sound.

This show has made a mockery out of terms like "loyalty", "Soulmate", "marriage" and "love". It's an overly emotional show where everyone has sold their brains for pennies at a nearby auction.

Thanks for your comment but the topic wasn't about Anurag dear. I asked about the definition of loyalty for her husband whether she would support him after knowing that he was responsible for Anurag's accident or not. Leave aside Anurag had it been any other human being he would have similarly escaped seeing the crowd. So according to me if you're really loyal you would like to amend the deficiencies in her husband rather than blindly supporting him . So I guess I wasn't able to bring my pov across to you.🤔
