Zindagi mein hum same nahi rehte.....badalte rehte hain......what nivi meant to have the anu back who was innocent, happy, cheerful, trusted others, enthusiastic, self motivated, was worried for others on a drop of a hat and when anupam said he wont be back .....it meant his innocence, happiness is lost and he is no longer the same person who will do anything for others happiness. His enthusiasm and self belief has all taken a hit and he will never be able to go back to what he was after this. The way prerna cheated on him ( atleast, thats what he can assume as of now ) has affected him as an individual and he has lost the power to trust. I personally felt that was what they meant.

AFAIK, he has trust issues. he's no innocent. neither enthusiastic nor self motivated. jab dekho playing with flying dupatta and rain dance karna inka full time job tha😆

i havent watched this kasauti before bajaj.....so i am not sure about his characterstics.......anurag in season 1 was quiet self motivated on business front and enthusiatic in the beginning too....ready to take up any challenge kind. And he did trusted prerna before she got married to bajaj, so i took characterstics from there. Khair, even if that wasnt shown here....than too what nivi and anupam meant was that what happened to him has basically changed him from what he was to what he is and he will never back to become the purana waala anurag.
