Woman are portrayed strong independent and powerful. You won't find any of these in ekta show. I think it really sets a bad example for young girls in india. Fortunately the youth audience is turning to international television rather than Indian. Game of thrones, Wonder Woman, Netflix series the crown, stranger things, Jessica jones etc the list goes on. Thank god erica last show portrayed her as an independent woman that 3 years later people still talk how great that show was.
