They added a back story to him this season which was absent last time. Rest is almost same.

At this point, I just wish the characters acted like themselves. Yes, Bajaj has a daughter and she is his biggest weakness and he would do everything in his power and more to ensure that she’s safe and happy. But the makers just can’t expect me to forget about how they had taken over a month to establish just how calculative and shrewd he was portrayed to be. All of that seemed to be forgotten overnight and this novice had acquired everything! Damn it. He was “ruthless” in their own words and I just want to see him put up a strong fight and get back everything before his opponent even had a chance to blink.

Sometimes I just feel that we as audience ~fans~ were not so invested because the creatives would change the character arcs and story every week for the sake of ratings..

@bold. I don't think our arguments even bother them at all. I have no idea to what audience do they cater because I am an online viewer & it's difficult for me to watch the episode after I have read the written update with such inconsistency. They just don't stick to what they have build up so far.

I can’t help but think that the show might’ve been put together by several people in some disjointed manner.. or it’s run on a trial and error basis. So if something works, they’d drag it to infinity and beyond or if it fails to garner the ratings, they discard that angle completely. They know the drama in the form of Mohini putting down Prerna and her family is lapped up by the infamous aunties so they just HAVE to include it every week to ensure they remain hooked. Everything else just depends on the pull.

I want to give benefit of the doubt to modern ladies as well of that age group. I don't think even they agree with such loudness. Even they have evolved with time to appreciate subtlety. But this show, this damn show has just ruined the original one to an extent.

To be honest, I think it’s the new generation which is wary of the drama. I just don’t see the point of Mohini’s drama every single week. Like even while the Switzerland track was on, they cut to a scene back home, she just showed up, flung a few insults and then got going. I must admit that I’m not an avid viewer and didn’t follow the show very regularly, but her character is so one dimensional to please a certain section of the audience.
