See we have lost connectwith Prerna bcoz she is no longer the one we once loved. Similarly if they make Anurag do certain things which are totally against his character people might detach from him as well. This is the only way to establishthe new couple otherwise no other way. As Prerna is not giving any resistance so it's easier to establish them. Only Anurag is the hurdle so they'll sideline him very soon. Or they might show another series of slaps and pushing away and insulting so he would ultimately moveon.

So it's crystal clear that it's the love story of new couple as AnuPre is over forever now.
