In defense of PRERNA :-

Hi everyone Sneha here. Being a blogger , you are supposed to be good with words. Unfortunately when it comes to expressing my emotions, I am a tad bit behind. So today I found two beautiful posts written by Gemini and Nailah which I would like to share. This is everything I ever wanted to say in defense of Prerna Sharma/Basu/Bajaj.

Damned if you do damned if you don't such a heartbreaking situation to be in and that is what Prerna Sharma/Mrs. Bajaj is now.

She sacrificed her life to get her lover out of a death sentence because she really did not have a choice. She made a huge mistake in not telling her lover she was pregnant with his child, made a grave mistake in telling her now husband that she was pregnant with her lovers child as a means of getting out of a situation.

She is now married to the Man she does not know, lost in the thoughts of a happy life with her lover, stalked by her lover whose pain she can see but is unable to do anything about. Tries to let him move on by projecting herself to be a gold digger the same words her lover used for her, telling him that they were never married legally which was the truth as theirs was a union of the hearts but in society, it was not recognized as such.

Now, people want her to tell her lover the truth that she saved his life what would that get her more guilt for Anurag. Would you want your lover to stay in guilt all their life? I would not think so. She lost her chance to tell him she was pregnant now by telling him that what is going to happen. Add to his guilt because she cannot reveal one without the other!. So, she is wanting him to move on just like she will probably try to.

What is wrong in moving on in life is that a sin? Don’t we all compromise in life some time or other and move on so then why is Prerna being questioned for it?

If Komolika wouldn’t have left wouldn’t Anurag moved on? Didn’t Anurag want her to move on during that phase so why is it wrong now for Prerna to move on.

I will tell you why because we do have double standards when it comes to men and woman!.

Granted that Prerna did make a HUGE mistake in not revealing the news of her pregnancy, and if she did it now what happens? She breaks the marriage to Bajaj marries Anurag and all is well?.

I cant handle this double standards between ML and FL..

so what if in the future Prerna does fall in love with RB?

How can they love and respect AnuPre if Prerna is treated like crap? All they keep doing is mocking her love, demeaning her sacrifice..

Anurag is making things harder for her.. What will he achieve by manhandling her? Pining her to the wall? She isnt a thing or commodity that anyone could just put their stamp on...

They were in love, he set her free from all the incomplete bond, she made the choice to save his life over their happiness.. so its done..

Prerna came back to avenge Komo, AP hardly interacted.. but here, instead of bringing RB down, he is doing more harm to her..

I have a huge issue with Prerna's impulsive nature and lack of self worth, but the easy she is bashed,is a little extreme. I don't agree that succumbing and sacrificing without thinking about the long term implications is a solution, because that's the kind of person I am.

But yes, Pre s pain should be understood, yet, the makers by focusing on Anurag and making Pre forget about her baby, is keeping the sympathy with Anurag and bajaj is also their favourite, what he did is wrong too, but that is being not given focus, his gentlemanliness is being highlighted.

I love Prerna or rather I want to love Prerna. She makes it really difficult when she chooses the first solution that comes to her mind for any kind of problem. Be it moving into Basu house or marrying Bajaj. Marrying Bajaj was not the solution like Anurag marrying Komolika was not the solution. I condemned Anurag them for his decision and I'm doing the same with Prerna.

I do agree with the points being made in your post though. If the show is presenting solutions that are only of extremes, without any sense or logic then we also have to analyze the characters in those extremes. I can't apply logic to Prerna's decisions if she herself didn't apply it. Same with Komolika and Anurag's alliance. Anurag didn't think twice before accepting the proposal to "save" Prerna. Prerna is literally doing the same EXACT thing as Anurag, however, I wish Prerna had learned from her mistake. She's already done the whole marrying an old man with money so she could save her family bit. Difference is, this time she was about to get married to the love of her life, and carrying his child while making that mistake. I know she's impulsive but I wish she wasn't shown to be stupid. I wish her love for her family and Anurag wasn't just her weakness but also her strength.

Anurag seems like a nice dream now. The one that supported Prerna, saw her discomfort, cared for her safety has turned into an entitled prick. And it started from the Komolika track. He's also impulsive and would he have done the same thing AGAIN, marrying someone else to save Prerna and his family if that option was presented in front of him? Who knows? But what we know is that he's physically hurting Prerna, stalking her, and telling her he will take her from Bajaj whether she likes it or not. Asking her questions, trying to get closure was one thing but now I'm tired of whatever he's trying to prove.

I want prerna to come out of this trap by herself.

Hiding pregnancy from anurag is ok, but giving baby bajajs name i am against it. She knows how dangerous is bajaj is for anurag.

Since prerna will give motherly love to sneha bajaj might treat prernas child as his own & raise. But in future one or other day baby will be questioned on paternity will she be able to answer her baby?

Prerna married bajaj we are okay with it, she dint had choice at all. But she could have pleaded him once before marriage post anurags release to give last try.

There anurag was safe she could have escaped she heeself walked to the marriage deal. She missed golden chance to escape. Run away pls.

Next thing she walked with dhaaga and claimed as wife & now she says it was never full marriage and not socially accepted. I am complety against it. Just by breaking dhaga & wiping sindoor if called divorce than why cant she do same with present sindoor also.

She could have asked bajaj court marriage not let him fill her maang. She had choice but NO she dint try.

Anurags action he married komo to save family & he saved sindoor for prerna. He had choice to discuss with nivi once.

He never moved on with komo not for second thoughts he saved himself and even prerna also said body belongs to anu. Lets see how far

Sassy prerna came to take revenge on anurag only not on his family

Anurag2 came to take her back by hook or crook not for revenge with bajaj.

His love never turned revenge.

When prerna said she married for money in fit of anger he slapped same situation prerna slapped when he said he got what he wanted from her & now bored of her.

stalking he needs proper reason why she left him, he dint buy gold digger reason here.

If he would have believed gold digger reason he would have not stalked her.

His faith on his love is still on. And he believes she is his wife mrs. Basu only.

But he wants her safety always he is scared & feels something is fishy she is not opening her mouth otherwise he would have held her by arms and asked her answer.

Molestation when he did he once pushed her to wall in anger and today he held her arms for answer but when he saw her pain he left her. Pls note this he left.

He never meant to hurt her.

If you still feel anurag has turned pshyco than i disagree

If you say he is stalking & molesting & harassing her than i disagree.

Now prerna let her move on with anyone, she has rights to live with her new husband but dnt anurag have rights to claim his asli pathi rights.

Anurag also had rights to move on but he never did with komo, and prerna filled his head that she is his asli biwi.

Wow finally you only broke dhaga and wiped sindoor 😆 post taking bath everyday she has to fill her maang. Dhaaga was made of thread so she could have needed one more new one.

If this is called freeing from marriage than i am like oh god save us from courts & lawyer fees.

I am not justifying anurag or prerna but accusing anurag for pshyco path behaviuor BIg nooooooo

And lastly its prerna who has to give closure to her inner prerna sharma & accept nanny job or move on with bajaj.

Love# he loves her

Trust # he trusts her

Violence # he never did

Molestation # he never did

Exactly. Though there are million issues with Prerna's characterization, we cannot deny she did it only for Anurag. I don't support her method, but I can understand her intentions. On the contrary, his behaviour towards her is sad and disturbing.

I agree he never molested her. But the stalking is disturbing .

Yes, Prerna needs to give closure to Anurag by revealing the truth. Anurag is definitely not psycho (Did I say that🤔), but he is obsessed with her. He needs to let her go, for her and for his own mental peace .

He cant walk into bajajs house like way prerna did.

He is left with only stalking option

No one will deny that prerna saved anurag she did we are thankful to her but but bewakoofi parts of anupre are higjlighted too

She has sacrificed her love for her love and damn she is too still hurting. That girl dont even have anyone to share her grief. The only one who is ready to listen, she is not really that comfortable with him at the moment.

Agree that she did mistakes like by not revealing about her pregnancy to her ex rather made a wrong plan thinking it would work. Unfortunately it didnt.

For her age n maturity, this is really too much for her to handle. Yet what she felt she could do, she did it.

Moving on in life. Its not that easy as we say. It needs lot of courage to move on alongwith carrying the burden of past. Its double the pain than the one with stuck in the past. Very difficult to express this one!

She is a strong girl in her own way. She is hurting but didnt give up. She gave up wrt to her love but not life :)

What fate had for her she is trying to accept it slowly. She is sensible.

After promises of no use, humiliation by Mohini/Nivi etc who change their behaviour towards her according to their will...I really want to see her journey from here as Mrs Bajaj. Not as a fan of PreRish I am saying this but that girl deserves to rise above all the Basus', which I see is possible as Mrs Bajaj :)

I have nothing much to say abt how is she treated right now by her ex. She dont deserve this. Thats all.
