He himself was ashamed of doing that & it was evident from his self-talk. Ishwari took it very seriously & talked to him. Sonakshi actually confronted him for doing that. It was only after Dev-Sonakshi had talked in his office where Sona provided him closure by saying that how much he was hurting her & he understood & he asked her for inviting him to her engagement for one final time so that he could learn to move on by watching her go away. He was stopped from going to engagement but he went & it was then broke down completely & poured out his heart on that incident, something he hadn't done till that.

Nowhere in that track, they glorified stalking but it was always pointed out. Even though people didn't like Dev doing it, makers still managed to convey his raw & complex emotions on how his inability to share his true feelings with anyone & mask of being strong as if he was fine was eating him away.

I can't get over that episode don't know how many times I've watched it. The way ishwari realised what Sona meant to Dev and her family was so beautifully shown. That show is incomparable 👏👏👏

There is no comparison many feel that show is a timeless classic so be it

If we see from Ekta's own factory of soaps, she has drawn inspiration from many characters. Third angle or faction is present in majority of itv shows, the origin of the so called third factor is Bajaj himself

Similarly Ekta or her writers seem to be very interested in sociopaths, stalkers, rejected lovers,

Bajaj is exhibiting a sociopath kind of behavior which makes him extreme

Onu was certainly not like this, a 360 degree turn wherein Pre has stabbed him from behind or in front has brought the worst out him. ( circumstances also made Dev like the way he was)

So instead of replacing, comparing, certain traits are copied

Nothing original in itv land

Not all shows will redeem their characters but sharica's previous one did.

Dev was responsible there and here anu didnt do anyrhing.. He is innocent baba..

I won't call Anu wrong this time. Prerna should have given that man a closure instead of making him suffer like this. People call this stalking when he has a right to know why exactly was he betrayed so brutally when she talked to him in the morning on the same day. Imagine talking to your fiance 2 hours ago & 2 hours later, you find out she is marrying someone else. That is insane.

Bajaj wasn't the first 3 angle. If one had watched 90s zee shows like Hasratein & other, even they had the third angle used very nicely.

But stalking trait existed in Eri's previous show. Ml ml never gave up in the sense whenever the fl tried to move on. Onu is doing the same here.

There is a difference between Pre coming to the basus to claim her rights vs Onu in this swiss track.

Anurag Basu is a DEV DIXIT in Bajaj's honeymoon track.

Having seen bits and pieces of the first season, i do not think the original Onu was a stalker who vowed revenge

Dont know about KRPKAB.. Never watched any epis. I watched @ bit of switz track.. But Anu was a desparate man who had been ditched on his marriage day at mandap trying to get a answer from his lady love... He wasn’t stalking. Although i wish he would stop behaving so rudely with Pre.

Nope Anu1 was not a stalker.. He gave Prerna all the spac3 she needed during this track and also supportrd her whenever she needed his help, but of course as a friend. He never tried to force himself in her life.. Those all were because Anu knew the reason behind Pre's marriage. She was already so broken.. There was no point in breaking her more. People say it was givibg up but he never gave up on Prerna.. Its just he gave up hopes to gain prerna back in his life.

In this season.. They wanted to show the track a bit differentl. I dont compeltely hate the track... He will be sobber down when he will come to kbow the truth.. I just cant understand why Pre is behaving so dubm.. She doesnt want a btoken Anu.. But gir, just look at him!! Do you think he can be more Broken than this. Hating the person you love is the most heart bteaking thing Pre.. You gotta know it.

@kamika whatever you say. I left analyzing Ekta, Gul Rashmi Sharma's and RS shows ( the latter i am not seen much of his work)

The current shows and characters which there on SP do not match to many which had a beginning and end with with either a concept or proper story for the audience to relate.

For eg DhaleeZ..

yes i did relate Anurag to Dev but now he isn't.

One of the writers from KzK was a part of KRPKAB writer team too.

Now, I don’t think Anurag’s angst could be compared to stalking. KRPKAB was a very different show and dynamic too. KZK is complicated as Ekta shows are. They swindle between kitchen politics and OTT drama while throwing in couple scenes. There’s certainly no connection between Dev and Anurag.
