The image that comes to mind is CVs wringing water off a towel. It’s hard to find a couple with the right chemistry yet when they found one they just blew it to bits with their fascination for villainous characters like Komo and RB. Towards the end Komo looked full blown psycho it was scary to watch.

Yes, If sex happens after the guy promises marriage & then for whatever reason he doesn't marry her or marries someone else, It's termed as rape in India

It is rape only if it has been proved that the guy had no "intention" of marrying the woman from the beginning & was eyeing her only to satisfy his lust but still promised her marriage to gain consent.

Anu did have all the intentions of marrying her but had to take other route due to some other reasons.

Court doesn't apply same yardstick to measure all the cases. The judgement was subjective to this case as in other case court observed that it is not rape if a relationship turned sour due to some reason & marriage didn't happen since women provided for consent gor sex in live-in relationships & she is responsible for that consent.
