Life is unpredictable. It keeps on throwing googlies, one after the other. It is you who should know when to duck and when to hit back. Many people say some events in your life are fate but I say they are the outcomes of the decisions you make.She was sitting in a corner reminiscing the memories of their time together.He was ingrained in every fiber of her being. For her,they were like one and the same.You hurt one,you hurt the other. You know one of those googlies life throws where you don't know whether to duck to save your life or fight back ,damn your existence,this was one of those moments. The person who claimed to love her stood beside her accusing her of heinous crimes she did not commit and the person who had destroyed her life had stood by her side through it all like a shield. No matter what people said,he was her knight in shining armor. He may not have the attitude to go with it but that was people's opinion and everyone was liable to their own opinions.
She had realized it a long time back. He might have married her for reasons unknown, but in the past few months he had become her pillar of strength. The entire world aside he was always by her side ,through every step she took or the decisions she made. He was her guiding light. He was not much of a talker,didn't freely express his emotions but his actions did all the talking. He cared and that alone was enough for her. The way he had stood by her side through out the ordeal had earned him her grudging respect .She had realized that later on in their relationship ,he was a man of his word she and loved him for the same. Love was not an alien emotion for her only the person attached to that emotion had changed. He had changed her to be a better version of herself. For everyone else he might have been the devil in disguise but for her he was the one who had made her "The Phoenix who had risen from the Ashes."
