Can Pre sue him on the grounds of intentional exposure to second hand smoke esp if she’s going to have to live with him. Will he blow smoke in his daughter’s direction too?

It’s a real problem and ppl in some parts of the world do sue for exposure to second hand smoke which can lead to lung issues. Hence smoking and non smoking sections in restaurants and hotels.

By the way since RB entry on the show any dissenting OPINION about his CHARACTER sketch is being countered with “but AnuPre are ........(put downs). Anu and Pre flaws are also discussed without bringing RB into the discussion. We can agree to disagree without being disagreeable can’t we?

Agree. It is basic manners to atleast ask for permission if you are going to smoke in presence of someone specially a non smoker. A simple, "Do you mind?" would have been enough. Does not suit the character sketch of a rich classy man.

Pre should be repulsed by such behaviour (among other things).

To some people whether cigarettes or cigars just a whiff of the smell of that smoke inhaled and blown out by another is bad enough to make them puke. It’s can feel worse than dealing with someone’s bad breath.

Bajaj is standing in his own home & Prerna is the intruder he allowed. Prerna is not someone he is interested in to entertain to show his decent behavior. Neither he intends to leave a good impression on Prerna. He wants Prerna to take him for what he is-ruthless & unapologetic. Prerna already thinks he is evil & he is not trying to change that at all. That's his character. He was doing the same thing when Anu intruded. His daughter is someone he cares about so ofcourse he wouldn't smoke in front of her. He hasn't been shown smoking in office or that conference he attended, so ofcourse he knows general manners. In this scenario, Bajaj had no intention of being a classy gentlemen especially after Prerna called him out on acting nice.

All Prerna had to do was ask him to put off the smoke in that very moment. If he had, then fine. If not, that would have classified as truly mannerless as he refused to pay heed to objection despite being clearly stated.

Bajaj is dark, why are people expecting anything nice from him right now. His character is of man who plays by his own rules without giving a damn to anything.

But that means we should not talk abt Mohini's atrocious and eye hurting jewelry , not talk about Nivi's OTT look because that's how she is , not even discuss dumbness of Leads because that's their basic character sketch .... 😆

but this all has been discussed in Forum with their own fans pointing it , so why not this part of Bajaj's personality be discussed which I see many find not-so-liking part .

Though This is like rai ka pahaad .... but yes bajaj n his every actions deserves to be judged in microscope mode.... cos everyone is not so lucky on this show to get the every type of (Pos/Neg) attention and importance from viewer ... so it is ok .. .But bajaj is a gray character so this time expecting from him something morally right is just a joke. 😆

but yah i am agree here completely i hate and always personally protest who try to smoke infront of me , n bajaj should not smoke infront of Prerna. it is indeed a disgusting and ewww type act as per me also . literally i hate the part .

But yah , i expected here from prerna , she will protest .. but it seems she has no problem in it .. that is also the biggest weakness of prerna where she does not know how to put her opinion on right and wrong .

I don't take part in those dress & look debates because that's how the show intends to do it & makers obviously want it loud without caring about the relatable looks for the viewers. Except AnuPre & Veena everyone has OTT looks in this show & that's how they want it.

To be dumb all the time is not character sketch of leads of this show. They don't have to be dumb to be leads. That's why that characterization is called out. AnuPre want to show themselves as Mahaan, sacrificial & smart to the audience but end up being dumb by all means.

For Bajaj smoking, he was doing it in front of Anu as well. In this scene, the moment Prerna says why are you trying to be nice, Bajaj takes & lights up the Cigar. He clearly wanted Prerna to continue thinking he is what she thinks he is. Was it mannerless of him to do it? Yes. But That's what he wanted to show.

I am used to dissecting grey characters since I watch a lot of shows with such characters which are full of such references all the time. 😆

Fan of Bajaj season 1 but i found this particular scene insulting.
