Prerna’s Love

I just saw the last two episodes again and once again I am blown over by Erica. How delicately and aesthetically she has portrayed these moments.

Prerna has always known that Kaki Ma is a bit of a dragon to the extent that Shivi and she joke about her getting a difficult MIL. But to come face to face with the real extent of Mohini hatred! I love how the writers didn’t give her the usual artificial dialogues of pain.... they know the diamond they have in EJF. She was able to convey her shock, pain and despair without the need for heavy dialogues. How she cries silently - unable to share her feeling of utter disillusionment with anyone.

Oh and the Friday episode 😢. The whole scene between them in her room. The way she told him he is her everything, more important than herself. How she is willing Sven burn herself to rescue him! I have seen this sort of life in real life and how authentically prerna expressed it. How delicately she touches her wounds and how desperately she hugs him when he wakes up.

Erica always shines in these sort of scenes and Kasautii obviously gives her a lot opportunity to flex her acting capabilities..... but every time I see her I am just left wanting to see more and more and more!

I love Erica. As I have always said I started watching this show because of nostalgia factor with kzk1 & bcz I was a fan of Hina in BB, but After watching one month of this show, I have fallen in love with Eri. Sure the character Prerna she plays is not the strongest , but there is a sense of innocence and vulnerability portrayed by Erica so beautifully that if touches your heart . She has won me over.

And we share the same bday- 7 may 😊

Great post UKG! In between all the bashing and fan wars we forgot to appreciate how natural Erica was in her portrayal of Prerna Sharma this whole week. Right from expressing her shock at Kaki ma’s words to her subtle expressions in the bathroom scene to show how Anurag’s proximity was affecting her ( without any heavy breathing ) to yesterday’s precap scene with Mohini...the girl has my heart❤️

Saying this for the 10000001th time....never seen an actress who looks so gorgeous while crying💔

Erica has been Outstanding this week .... DG is right in all this Nautanki We forgot to appreciate this girl who is doing back to back high voltage scene, yet not loosing the grip .

Oh I Loved Prerna crying in her bedroom post confrontation with Mohini.....Erica looks SOO beautiful while crying ... There was similar crying scene during Naveen track where Prerna waned to cry out loud but she tries to suppress it by putting on her mouth , I really got gooosebumps in that scene, She was SO GOOD there...

Its must been really heartbreaking for her to witness the venom , hatred that Anurag's Mom has for her , that o an extent where she is ready to make Anurag choose between her and his love ..Erica portrayed that shock , hurt and anguish superbly ...

Over the period of time , I have got used to Erica's style of Acting and I must say Its quite unique ...One really need to pay attention to what she is doing to really grab her nuances ....They are so subtle with Variations .I LOVE her Eyes when She is looking at Anurag ...there is so many emotions there ...and the way she moves her Eye balls ...

Prerna as a character has lot of flaws but I LOVE SUCH FLAWED characters , She brings out Prerna's innocence and vulnerability Perfectly . Erica makes Prerna Lovable ....

We know what this girl can do thanks to Humiliation Episode , Writers need to give her scope to perform ...

Also I seriously hope Prerna never looses her Innocence , He did lost that Prerna somewhere in Komo track and now she is back ....❤️

Looking forward to her Scene with Bajaj.....

I love her more when she criess ..one of those people who look cutest while crying.

She can potray super saasy,those ### expressions you talk about 😆and crying are her forte.I feel her comic timings are also good tho we hardly got to see them here.

Prerna Sharma has this inherent quality of shyness, child like innocence in her which EJF brought out so gracefully, her whole hearted adorable smile is watch worthy - this defines Prerna this season

And when she cries, it comes out so beautifully, some significant scenes like her pain of one sided love before anurag confessed, the breakup sequence( she was terrific there, especially that psychotic expression when she said she wouldn't let the engagement happen) and this whole week, she was just amazing !!!

Sassy Pre was brilliant too, no OTT, to the point and strong ! Her look for sassy Pre only added more charm to it ! And her eyes - they speak volumes and volumes of emotions❤️ She keeps it so subtle yet passionate and they way she moves her eyes in line with the romantic sequences, is soo lovable!

Cheers to this amazing Girl and looking forward for many more such outstanding performances from her ......!

Emotional & confrontation scenes where she expresses her bewilderment, frustration, anger, helplessness, desperation, shock & that feeling of trying to hold herself together in damned situation have always been her forte. That's what made her shine in her last show as well.

From the start of the show one quality in EF that stood out was her innocence and naivety. When Anu teases her at Navaratri, was just the beginning.

One of her very subtle moments was after they got away from Ronit her honesty in admitting though she thought badly about Anu, she was glad her feelings for him were always true.

Her confrontation with Mohini with the CD was measured she didn’t get into a.raving fit. Instead as Mohini railed at her, her subtle facial expressions at the shock of the words she heard was brilliant. Even then there was an innocence and disbelief that Mohini had put on an act about accepting her and her marriage to Anu.

.The cast is a good group of talented actors, hope the script favors their abilities to deliver a stellar performance.
