EXCLUSIVE: Parth, Erica's jodi is loveable in Kasautii; my aim is to bring something fresh: Karan Singh Grover
Karan Singh Grover joins the cast to shoot for Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actor will be seen stepping into the shoes of Mr Rishab Bajaj in the show where Erica plays Prerna while Parth essays the role of Anurag. The role of Bajaj was previously played by Ronit Roy. As Karan makes an entry into the show, social media went abuzz with speculations if the trio (KSG, Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes) will hit it off, off screen. Well, who knew that the actors already have something in common.
In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, KSG revealed, "I am actually looking forward to sharing a great camaraderie with Parth because we have a common friend who is a photographer. That photographer friend of mine is very excited. He told me that Parth and Erica are good friends of his and even I am, so, we already have that in common. Also, Parth is a really good actor and his and Erica's jodi is loveable and is being loved." When we mentioned that his entry is going to break that lovely jodi on-screen, Karan laughed saying, "I have to do my job."
Well, what about the chemistry with Erica, given that Parth and Erica's chemistry has received a lot of adulation. Is he looking to replicate a similar chemistry? Karan replied, "Not really, Parth's chemistry with Erica can not be done by someone else. It will always be different. I don't aim for that. What I aim for is something fresh and new because they are already loved and no other two people can replicate that. As an addition to the team, what I can do is add something to it and make it different; that part will be mine."
Kasautii Zindagii Kay airs at 8:00 PM on Star Plus.
