Anurag's love for Prerna is completely separate from his physical attraction to her.

During her engagement to Navvu, Anurag told Prerna that he has always know when she is around even in a crowd. He has always noticed her. Then again just before the atta scene when he was helping her with the dori in front of the mirror, he told her that he has always found her good looking. He could not make it more clear that he has always found her beautiful and been attracted to her.

Im sure its the same for Prerna, though shes too shy to admit it. She has always noticed that he is goodlooking and that all the girls around him are into him. This is what he was trying to get her to admit when he tried the whole let me come closer and closer to you to show you that you also find me attractive.

But love is different. They first fell into friendship and then love. And its be a slow process starting on the day of the durga puja.

So for Anurag it doesn't matter what Prerna wear and vice versa. They will always be unable to look away from each other.
