It was really interesting to hear Pooja talk about her first impressions.

Parth is reserved. She is not the first one to say this. Everyone seems uniform in calling him reserved and having a small but close friendship group. Which also explains why he didn't get along with so many people in his previous set.

Erica is quiet with people she doesn't know and talks a lot to people she knows. You can make out Erica's warmth but she is clearly also a person self content in her own company.

Sahil is also very shy initially but is "totally yours" once you get to know him.

Hina she said was very talkative and fun on sets. She doesn't seem fun and free with Parth and Erica. I don't know Hina at all.

Actually this is a misconception. He got along very well with everybody except niti. Specially with kishwer who played his mom and rest of the fab5. And also karan.

But yes..everyone says he is reserved.and it maybe true kyy set was bunch of immature people thrown together and they behaved like high school kids.
But he did get along well on sets with most people.
It was with media his shy and awkward nature was more visible those days.

I didn't mean it as a criticism. Being reserved is not a character flaw.

I think what she said about Erica also applies in case of Parth.. He is initially reserved but he is very friendly after he gets close to People..

I wasn't talking abt being reserved.i agree on that.
I was mentioning abt him not getting along with so many people on his previous set. That issue was only with niti. He got along very well with others.

ha ha ...I think what someone like Pooja, how clearly loves him as a friend and is loved by him, is the fact in exactly the words she meant it. We are the outsiders who are guessing and don't know what we are talking about.

Ah got it!

And Niti seems like a sweet lovely person from instagram (not sure how reliable that is). Sometimes two people who are both nice may not get on for some bizarre reason.

I really like the way you have put it, especially the bit of a bunch of immature people thrown together in KYY. These young people did lack maturity back then, and they ended up being tagged as enemies with their behaviors. The fact that, they did another season despite things had become ugly and now are on talking terms says a lot.

However, I think it's tough for us to judge celebrities. Their lives, though seems public and open, aren't really that open. We can know and say only what they show us and not necessarily everything that we are being shown is right and true. 😆

To be honest everyone keep calling them young. Parth was the same age as me when he was doing the serial and so were a lot of other people. So not everything can be blamed on youth.
I think the celebrity point you make is the real killer. I wonder how any of our actions would be if they were scrutinised by media outlets and viewers and fans and everyone!

I get where you are coming from but we can't expect everyone of our age to be as mature as we are, can we? I didn't mean to generalize. I was particularly talking about the cast in KYY that time. Age factor or no age factor, maturity factor was certainly there. I remember, Niti herself has said this in a couple or IVs that they have grown more mature.

@bold - That's right. While his fandom and her fandom keep fighting about right and wrong, I can't help wondering why. We do not know what they went through while shooting, what their circumstances, situations were. The fact that they had huge differences and yet, they continued shooting irrespective of it earns my respect.

Friendship can't be forced. I understand that fans want the onscreen couple they ship to be on great terms offscreen as well, but if they don't get along, then they do not and I feel, it is okay. We are humans and so are they, and we don't gel up with every single soul but with time, we learn and grow as individuals and when that happens, our equations with everyone improve (like it has happened with Parth and Niti I guess).
