I was hoping atleast in new kxk there wont be marriage drama while they r still in college. I think i got this impression bvos in ekta intrview she had mentioned related to anurag casting how he had to be young bcis this was young love story..
Why even have the characters in college if marriage is be alk end all.. ehat purpose did college serve in this story i have no idea..
The stpry could easily have started wmith prerna coming to work for kaka babu after college and anurag also working there

It depends on where you are from. In small towns, parents start searching for suitable alliances for their daughters from as early as 19-20 years. For guys its from 24-25 years. One of my school mates...a guy married at he age of 24. Its off course different in big cities and metros.

I have few uncles in my family, all are 40+, one is even nearing 50, all are bachelors, but they still consider themselves young and are not ready for marriage.😆

@vandana21 Your question is definitely valid especially if your exposure to Indian society is limited. I grew up in India my whole life and am currently in the U.S for college and something that baffled me was how early people get married over HERE. I was in such shock when two of my batch mates got engaged in our sophomore year and so many of my sorority sisters got married as soon as they graduated. That being said, I've seen friends of mine who stayed back in India for college attend many of their classmates' weddings. No one I know is doing it but some of the people they know certainly are. I would say it depends on your religion, socio economic status, ethnicity and a combination of other factors. It's too large, populated and diverse a country to categorically say one way or the other.
