Mr Bajaj - do we really need him?

The one thing everyone seems to agree on when it comes to Kasauti 1 is that they all loved Mr Bajaj. I never watched it but there are definitely more videos of him and prerna on insta than prerna and Anurag.

That got me thinking. From what people have said in this forum I get the impression that last time by episode 25, our star crossed lovers had fallen in love and had sex and Anurag had gotten married to someone else? Or was that a bit later? Either way the audience didn't get enough time to engage with them as a couple.

This time it's episode 34 and our couple are still getting close to each other and getting to know either other. We are really getting invested in this couple and their friendship story and love story.

Unlike the previous lead actors, who I believe hated each other, our youngster group are getting on like a house on fire so there is no reason to film them separately. And in this group I add the lovely Shubhaavi who has the sweetest and most kind smile on earth!

Do people who loved Mr Bajaj still think he would be appropriate for this story? Does he still have a place between this couple?

My two cents is that this story needs to follow a different route and both Komolika and Bajaj cannot have the role they did in Kasauti 1. Parth is too good an actor and has too good chemistry with Erica for him or their relationship to take a secondary role.

frankly speaking, i felt the story was slightly rushed early around epi 25-26 in Kzk-1 where they fall in love but anurag gets forced to marry komolika...this time, they are taking time to develop the story which is good...

Bajaj was very imp,. He was a very interesting character.

U need these characters to crate tadak drama.

Only romance can never work. Villians and grey characters r equally important to create drama

Do we? If you want to pull a serial to 7 years or even 3 years then yes you need heros to become less less heroic and betrayals and many marriages ... but I'm don't thrive serials should go in for that long. The best Pakistani drama have just 22-30 episodes. International serials that go on for 10 years still have only 22 episodes a year at most. I am not saying we need to go that far but If you need to fill 2000 espisodes you can never come up with enough good ideas or be true to the character of your original leads. Why not aim for 1 and 1/2 or 2 years and make a brilliant series!

They do need to make this season different otherwise what was the point of the reboot if they were to show the same crap? Btw we should refrain from comparing to original season in this thread otherwise mod's will also close this so let's just be careful about that so this thread isn't closed too, but I guess to a certain extent it's dodo hard to avoid. I also think Bajaj isn't needed given he was always intended as a cameo in the first place till the character got too popular and became a permanent fixture, but here they are really building up the lead couples relationship more. I want things done more differently this time.

Don't want to do any comparisons. But there are so many posts with people speculating who is going to be Mr Bajaj and saying what a good character he was. And that's so good - for Kasauti 1. Now I just want the writers to realise that what we in 2018 want is a top notch Anurag! Ha ha at least that's what I want!
