Prerna calls her bhabhi for being the wife of older brother

Suman calling her Prerna didi is confusing...

Shekhar is the oldest sibling of Sharma family. And Prerna is the second.

does it mean Suman is younger to Prerna...

See, Suman is elder to Prerna in relation as she is her elder brother's wife. So Prerna calls her bhabhi. But suman is younger to Prerna in age, so she calls her Prerna Didi

in UP & MP side even nanad is younfer to bhabhi still bhabhi call her didi

atleast in side this is the tradition

Yes even in north India, my brother and Bhabhi are elder to me in age but my Bhabhi calls me didi. This is because rishta of nanad is considered bigger and out of respect Bhabhis address their nanads as didi. Same I do with my nanad who is younger to me and my husband in age.
